I have lost track of how many times I have used Dewayne Bowman. He has done a great job on each occasion. I continue to use him because I can depend upon him to do good work. I had one matter in particular that seemed impossible but he was able to help me get it done. He has always given me good counsel and done excellent work. I highly recommend him.

He did a great job. He was reasonable in price, did good work and was very personable. He stays very busy because he does such good work. You may have to wait some time to get the work done unless it is an emergency. I just make sure he gives me a date so that I have a time frame to look forward to. I am a big fan of Bowman. Already have another project for him to work on.

Dewayne Bowman is an excellent contractor. Professional and personable. Mr. Bowman can be counted on to provide excellent service. All questions or concerns I had were quickly addressed. Everthing turned out exactly as planned! I showed Mr. Bowman a photo of a breakfast bar addition I wanted. He added the bar to my kitchen and I couldnt be more pleased! The entire crew is trustworthy and helpful. I would not hesitate to call Bowman Construction again for any type home repair or remodel!

First of all, it took over a month to get the job done, when I was told it would be done in 2-3 days, and it on top of that it is incomplete. I had been quoted and paid for replacement of bathroom vanity countertop & mirror & replacement of a piece of base board which has not been done as of this time, because they left without it being done. On top of that, they left the work area a mess. I will have to hire another contractor to come and finish the job I have already paid this company for if it is not corrected.

"Wanting something for nothing!!! A month to get my money from him. Perry had a plumber mess up his bathroom trying to put a new bathtub in. He damaged the sheetrock around the tub and walls, and left a mess of the bathroom. I told him I would work it in between jobs in the next month and he said he was in no hurry. (Any good contractor can not get to a job in 2-3 days if he has a great reputation like we do.) We fixed the sheetrock and painted the walls. It took me a month to get my money. Then he said he wanted a bathroom vanity, countertop, mirror and new baseboard installed too, and wanted me to come back and install it. I did not want to work for this customer anymore and I told him I could not get to it! I completed all the sheetrock and painting as requested and finally got paid. I have NOT been paid for any additional work and will NOT work for this customer again. As you can tell by HIS quoted price, you don't get everything he is talking about for $400. People think the internet is their key to something for free! My reputation proves the kind of business we are for the past 30 years. His comments are all lies. God knows this and my conscience will not worry about this customers lies. All other contractors beware!!!!"

I contacted Bowmen Construction on Friday morning via phone and email from Angies List. Buddy came to my house yesterday, the very next day after my initial call, with all the materials necessary to get the job done correctly. He worked diligently until the job was done. It came out beautiful. Flawless. I'm very pleased with the quality of work and the cost for the completed project. I highly recommend Bowman Construction for your home repairs. Rates are very reasonable for the work that needed to be done.

The owner came to look at the job and give us an estimate. He was very thorough and professional. They showed up on time. The work crew was very neat and professional. They suggested and improvement to widen our very narrow bathroom door even further. Their work looked really good when they finished, craftsman-like.

Bowman Construction is simply the best. DeWayne Bowman, the owner, is helpful, considerate, and totally professional. You just could not hire a better contractor. He is knowledgeable and professional in every way. His crews are well behaved, friendly, trustworthy and all know their jobs. The work is all performed in an expert manner and to my specifications. Fantastic job with a beautiful result. Turned out exactly as planned and envisioned. The crew were all extremely curteous and professional. Took extra care to stain wood stairs to match other wood trim. Could not have expected a better job. Dewayne Bowman himself is a true pleasure to deal with and a professional in every aspect. Will not hesitate to use him again.

Dewayne Bowman is one of the nicest guys I have met. He is totally professional and yet very personable at the same time. He and his crew went far beyond what I ever imagined. Our home is an older house. And for those of you who do not know, that means that a lot of times things are not centered, etc. So working with existing floors and walls that are not centered or slightly bowed out can be a challenge for somebody who is putting in new walls attaching to the existing walls. Mr. Bowman pulled it off without a hitch. Our house looks amazing!! I was out-of-town while Mr. Bowman was doing the remodeling on our house. I found him to be totally trustworthy. I would definitely use him again and I encourage everyone in the Cleveland Tennessee area if you need work done on your house, call Mr. Bowman. You will not be disappointed in him or his crew. I find him to be very honorable in his dealings and very fair in his prices. And just a side note-we did get the folks at Lowe's to frame out the carport. The reason that we did that was we were new to the area, and we did not know anyone. We thought at least Lowe's has a warranty, if were not satisfied and in case the contractor takes the money and runs. I will say that I wished 1 million times over that we had gotten Mr. Bowman to do the entire thing. We would have gotten a much better deal and we would have gotten better quality work. Thank you Mr. Bowman for what you did for us. My family and I are very grateful to have you help us and also to call you a friend. God bless you and your family.

Mr. Bowman did an excellent job installing the vinyl railing and handrails. We told him what we wanted, but allowed Mr. Bowman to select the materials to be used. He chose high quality materials and did a wonderful job with the installation. The railing and hand rails are rock solid and look beautiful.

He first had to gut the existing lawn garage: remove the overhead garage doors, water proof and insulate the walls, install and paint drywall, reroute electricity to the appropriate places, tile the floor interior and exterior walls, install and insulate a drop ceiling, install a TV set, and construct a storage room. On the exterior, he built a low wall around the exterior patio, framed it, and installed screen to keep out pests and a patio door.
All of this work went extremely well and we are very pleased with the result.

Project was delayed by several months mostly due to the weather that would not cooperate. Once the weather was no longer an issue he was here as expected and project was quickly completed. Very pleased and already have discussed other projects for him to do as soon as finances are available.

We found him on Angie's list on Tuesday morning, sent an email and left a phone message. But early afternoon, he responded. We explained what we had done in our bathroom and what we wanted. He was able to come that afternoon, give us a quote and fit us into his busy schedule Wed-Fri. We were very happy. He understood the scope of the job, explained to us what needed to be done and did it.
