When I picked her up, they had completely shaved her stating the groomer could not brush her due to tangles in the coat. They did not contact me regarding this decision and then charged me the grooming fee plus an additional fee for shaving her.

They were the one I've always used even before I was a member of Angie's List. They are a great facility. It's really easy to make reservations like you can make reservations online. You don't have to call anybody and you can pay online. It's really nice.

I boarded my dog there for 6 days and had them give her a bath and trim before I picked her up. I toured the kennels, and they where clean and well lit. This was the first time I left Roxie at a boarding kennel. If I have to board her again I would do it here. They did a great job on her hair cut also.

Hands down the best experience we've ever had with a groomer/boarding house for our dogs. The staff is kind and responsive. Michael, the owner, really goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible service. I never feel like just another customer. I'd recommend them to anyone.
My dogs are always happy here. They come home smelling great which isn't easy for the beagle.....no matter how hard I try I just can't get that little fella to smell good but Village Groomer has no problem with that.
Also, when I was leaving the office today the owner asked me if I needed to schedule future boardings...he knows that I travel frequently and can wait until the last minute to schedule boarding, which can be very troublesome. I did have another trip coming up and without his prompting me to schedule it, I would've forgotten. He schedules all my grooming appointments out on a schedule and sends me reminders to ensure I'm where I'm supposed to be. Its this white glove service that busy professionals/parents need to help keep things running smooth. I'm not sure if he does this for all of his customers but I certainly appreciate it.

The Village Groomer does a great job of taking care of our dogs when we are away. They are a little expensive, but the quality of care and the ability to relax on a trip, knowing that they are in good hands, is worth the price. We have used them several times before and always been pleased. If you are leaving town around a holiday, book far in advance. They will fill up quickly!

They had a good groomer that did a super job on my dog the first few times I went, but after that I guess just anybody was grooming my dogs because they didn't look the same. The price also seemed to increase. The last time I went there they removed all the decorative hair on his legs and face.
