TNT TOWING

Damaged my property that was incidental to the call, owner Dany Tinsel did not offer any apologies simply told me to call my homeowners if I wanted it fixed.  Called USAA to have my daughters car pulled out of the mud on my property.  They sent a TNT Driver.  He was quick to respond and did remove the car with a simple wench.  The problem occurred when I informed the driver he would need to allow me to open my gate for him to enter.  It was raining and around 8 p.m..  We have flood lights around the house three of which illuminate the gate area and two others directed at the driveway.  I opened the gate the driver began to proceed forward then stopped his tow truck with his truck doors between the gate area.  While I motioned him forward which he did not respond to the gates began to close on the truck, crushing my gates. No damage to the truck.  Driver took a photo of the gate and said he sent it to the owner.  I took photos and called USAA to inform them of the damage to my property. My daughter asked the driver after her car was taken care of what we should expect in regards to the damage.  He said nothing I sent a picture to the owner.  USAA informed us to call the company which I did the next morning.  I spoke with Danny Tinsley the owner explained the damage to my property and inquired as the the photo.  Mr. Tinsely informed me that the driver sent a photo to the dispatcher.  He then informed me I would need to call my homeowners insurance to file a claim.  I clarified what I had heard by stating, "your company's worker came onto my property to provide a service paid by an insurance company, your employee damages my property through neglect or failure to follow not just common sense but safe driving practices and I must take the time to file a claim on my homeowners insurance". He replied "if you want your gate fixed you will". I then called USAA and reported the event.  USAA could not have been more helpful and understanding.  They filed a report against the company on our behalf and have marked our policies to NEVER send this company to service our needs.  I will update this site again once resolution has been determined.  I have also posted this same review on Angie's List and plan to post a notice on my work community board as will my husband and daughter.
