Riverside Muffler & Alignment

I have used riverside for years and appreciate good mechanic service. They are not the cheapest shop in town but I have had good results and trust their mechanics. So often shops will not be completely honest with customers. Ask for Gary, he will take good care of you.

They repaired one gasket which (they said) caused another to leak. By the time they were through, I was broke and had replaced every part that could have been replaced--their next advice was to replace the engine. I just resigned myself to the fact that I would have to drive it until it wouldn't drive anymore. I ended up trading the van with a mechanic friend of mine for a sedan. I ran into this friend a few weeks later and he said that he finally got the oil leak fixed, once he replaced the oil pump. I told him that the pump may have still been warranted, since I had just replaced it and he told me that what was on the van was the original factory-installed pump. I wanted to take them to court but he refused to testify against them for me. I was sharing this story about a year later with a former employer and he told me that he had had a similar experience with them (parts charged for that were not replaced). This was a long time ago, so the people I dealt with may be gone; but I would never refer anyone to them, ever.

After taking a car to Riverside Muffler and Alignment several months ago and being pleasantly surprised, we returned to do business with them when my husband's car kept overheating and leaking anti-freeze. What a great business! They gave us a quote upfront and were right on when it came time to pay. Also, they got us in the same morning we called AND finished that day. There prices seem reasonable and they are definitely not your typical rip-you-off mechanic shop!
