Very courteous talkative and professional. I have no other repair services to compare too so if other services are as expensive or more than this then I will change the review but... He stuck a screwdriver down there pushed the disposal in opposite direction saw a BB or something under blade and pulled out with pliers. Not much work for right below $100. Did show me the screwdriver technique for future if the disposal ever jams.

A pipe burst in the wall today, and I was able to turn off the water before much damage was done. My biggest concern was getting it fixed quickly since we would have no water in the house until it was fixed. I was quite worried that we wouldn't get service quickly because I am sure I'm not the only person in Clarksville dealing with burst water pipes. I called at 11am this morning and by 1pm a guy was here...and he was gone about 45 minutes later. He cut a small hole in the wall (about a foot square), removed the burst pipe, replaced it with new pipe and added an additional valve that could be turned off in the winter months (in our drop ceiling) to prevent this happening again (it was the pipe to an outside spigot). When I got the bill I was blown away: $136 for such quick service and all those parts? I wish I could recommend them a hundred times over. I'm still marveling that it was taken care of so quickly and I am so thankful and appreciative.

It went great. They were prompt. They were clean. They provided an estimate before they did the work. I would call them back if I had another problem.

Great service, decent prices. Plumber made a slight mess when he first arrived and asked for towels to help clean it up. We just moved into the home and didn't have our belongings yet. Luckily he had some towels in his vehicle but that did seem a bit odd for him to request some of my towels for dirty nasty sink water he spilt on the ground. Other than that i was pleased with the service of the company and I will use them again when needed.

The gas line had to be enlarged from one side of the house to the other where the generator was being installed.  Work was professional and completed on time.  Good coordination with Dunn Electric.
Highly recommend, they are now are new favorite plumbing company !

They came right out, faster than I thought they would be. He had it done in about 15 minutes; he was able to get the washrag out by pushing into the sewer.

I have used Radford's Plumbing for my latest Water Heater repair/replacement as well as in the past at my previous home and rental properties I own.  He and his assistant have always been punctual on arriving.  Extremely professional making sure necessary permits are in place and keeping safety for me and the property first and foremost.  When required they have updated the system to meet all necessary code requirements, passed all inspections if required.  I could not be happier with the work done.  They stay with the job till it is complete and have always met the estimated price.  With Radford Plumbing I have never experienced hidden charges or add-ons, he is up front as to what all the charges and expenses will be so that at the end you will not have sticker shock or unexpected charges inflating your final invoice
Bottom Line Is: if you need a Gas Water Heater or any plumbing work done, call Radford's Plumbing and be assured you will be dealing with a competent and ethical plumber that will get the job done timely and accurately.

I'll be honest. We hired some friends(actually friends of my brother) to do a remodel for us under the impression they were contractors. After starting the remodel we were left with out hot water, leaking pipes, and a water heater that was not connected to the gas vent (it was discovered that it was never connected to begin with). We called Radford's to do the repair on the leaking pipes figuring reconnecting the gas vent would be a simple task we could complete on our own.
Al came to access the situation and informed us, very rudely, how he didn't want to touch anything because we had not pulled permits for the remodel and did not even provide an estimate as requested. The permit was something we were unaware of needing. We immediately  remedied the situation and called building and codes for our permit and then recalled Radford's to complete the repair.
We heard nothing but complaints through out the entire process and received constant badgering.  We could not apologize enough times to him and point out that we corrected our mistake as soon as it was made known to us. You would have thought we disassembled the entire water heater into a million pieces and then put some sort of voodoo on it.
We understood the seriousness and the dangers of what could have happened if we ran the water heater/gas without it being properly ventilated, hence the hot water not being turned on when they first arrived.
Part way through the repair my husband again asked what the cost would be upon which we were given the reply " somewhere around $500, it's not like I am going to rape you with cost"
The repair was completed on a tuesday. We were given a bill that friday that totaled just shy of $1,000. We had been charged a gross amount in labor around the amount of $80 per hour.
Overall, I can not stress enough how rude the owner of this company was during this process; to the point of my wife being in tears and several others who witnessed the exchange feeling the need to let me be aware of how she had been treated, unfortunately I wasn't made aware soon enough to hire a different company for the repairs. Many lessons learned on this occasion.
If you want good quality work performed by a person who thinks badgering their clients is ok and charges on the high end, then you've found the right company.
Response from Radford Plumbing Co
"I have been in the plumbing business sense 1975. About once every 10 years or so there is some job I wish I had not taken and this was one of them. You just don't play with a natural gas water. We had to re do the whole do it your self job from scratch water lines gas line and vent and then get it inspected. The family is now safe and the job done legally."

Every question I asked Al Radford or his employee (Scott) were accurate  and precise. After the water heater was installed, I had Scott check my shower faucet that was leaking . He recommended that I change the cartridge in it and that it would fix the problem and the faucet would be good as new again. He was right. Radford's is a competitive , reasonable service company that I will use again and again. They are just nice guys!

I called them and told them my problem (a broken valve on my hot water heater).  They said wouldn't be able to make it until the next day.  I was not able to be home be home the following day and they made arrangements to make it out to my house within a couple of hours.  The service was quick, professional and courteous.

I like everything about him and he did an excellent job. He cleans up after himself and is polite. When they do a job they do it completely and you don't need them to come back again. When we had problems with our air conditioner people came in and out to fix it, but I called him once and he found the problem and fixed it and we haven't had any problems since. He did that even though it was not his job. His staff is also wonderful.

I've used his services for a couple of years. I am happy with him. Al does take a while to send me a bill, which is all right with me. It will probably be about $500. He shows up when he tells you he will show up.

pretty much I called, they came out within 2 hours, kind, courteous and professional service. my tank was cracked by accident in the process of trying to fix it so he replace it for the cost of the repair. Clean and thorough!! He even let my 10 year old son "help" by holding tools. With my permission of course. Iwill for sure use them again!!
