Lawn Doctor

I have used Lawn Doctor for years and was reasonably satisfied with their service (although I don't think their technicians take enough time for each service call or use the most effective products). Recently moles appeared in my backyard. I have had three "treatments" so far -- at $105 per treatment -- and the mole issue has gotten much worse. The repellent the technician applied simply pushed the mole around my yard. The effects have been devastating. After spending $315, I cancelled Lawn Doctor.

Over the last year and a half, our shrubs began to die.  First the foundation shrubs in the front slowly died.  Next, our shrubs in the back of the home became diseased and died.  While they did mention that the shrubs in the front were damaged by winter burn (which out landscaper disagrees with-- he says it is "scale"), they never even mentioned our shrubs in the back.  When they came to treat the shrubs, under the comments section of our invoice it simply said "thanks!".  I had the technician come out and evaluate.  He told me that there is nothing that they can do about the shrubs getting diseased in between treatments.  So, he had the owner come by.  The owner walked quickly around our house and left.   I waited over a week after still not hearing back, then called him.  He had forgotten to call me.  The positive is that he did refund our tree and shrub service for the past year.  However, that does not come near the cost of replacing all of our homes shrubs.
Additionally, the lawn service had become increasingly sloppy, missing the treatment of chickweed in areas throughout our lawn.

We’ve have them for 5 years. We get a discount for doing the signing of the contract ahead of time. I almost never see the workers. They just come do it and they are gone. The lawn looks fine when they are done. They might be here 5 to 10 minutes at the most to do the work. I would recommend them to a friend.

In four years I saw some improvement, but unless your neighbors take care of there yard, its a waste of money. I always had weeds no matter what they putdown, once they died , no grass. So for me waste of $$

Excellent. We have been using Lawn Doctor for a year now, since finding them listed on Angie's List. They always (and I mean always) show up like they are supposed to. We never have to call to remind them to come. I live in Ashland City and some people consider us to be out of the way so we would often be forgotten by other service people. Further, when the mid-May treatment was scheduled, they worked with me to move the treatmetn up about 1 week earlier to work with the landscaping company that was coming at the same time. They were very accommodating. I could not ask for better service.

I changed to Lawn Doctor from my other provider due to a $40 dollar per service savings. Lawn doctor was professional, punctual and met all expectations except their product did perform well at all. I have switched back to my old provider an my lawn looks great.

It went fine. The price was on the higher end; but based on a lot of people in the neighborhood, they did what they said they were going to do. It was worth in my opinion. They were very professional. They are committed to a good work. The price was a little high, but it was part of a service. They are very good company.

Everything went great. I would definitely use them again.

They arrived promptly as promised. No fuss! They completed the tasks requested and then left info about procedure and bill on my front door. No extra sales pushed ! Very pleased with communication and service!

Too soon to evaluate quality based on results, but they have been professional in all contacts. A real person answers the phone. Service technicians are personable and seem to do a good job. An appointment had to be changed due to the weather and they called me to do so. There are less expensive services, but I have not been happy with them. Time will tell if the results on my lawn match their customer service.

I had a very good experience dealing with them. The price that they charge us was kind of expensive but they were very quick to come out. They gave me a thorough quote and started the service immediately. They were very, very professional. They have come out twice and treated my lawn twice now and they'll continue to do that for a year.

I am always satisfied with their work. When I order for services, they come and do it. They leave the bill on my front door. They are very good. They are very professional about what they do.

He's only been here once but did everything he said he'd do and we have no qualms w/ his service. We just moved here, have a lawn w/ lotsa problems and have never used a lawn service before, so it'll be a year before we know if he's been able to live up to his promises

I am happy with them. The work looked really good. I didn't have to call and schedule anything. They just come out and do what they do. It's very convenient.

We are very happy with them. They are very responsive to any questions we have. They are punctual and professional. We have used them for about 20 years, and will continue to do so.

They are regular, and they offer online payments, so you don't have to worry about sending in the bill. I like that. They have automatic billing set up. I have had them for eight years. Their price is pretty comparable.

Lawn Doctor is very professional. They come exactly when they are supposed to come. I have used them for five years and our lawn looks like an advertisement on a fertilizer bag. It did not look as good before I used them. They are just excellent.

Lawn Doctor is very honest. He actually talked us down on what we were willing to pay saying we didn't need as many treatments. I really appreciated that. I am very pleased with how they treated us. I will be using them again.
