some doors not done- painted around nails instead of removing them-didn't paint one wall all the the way up to ceiling-circuit breaker door painted shut-paint on carpet-door knobs not painted and not put back on door doesn't answer calls sometimes complained about the people he sent to my house-alarm system had to be redone-never got to kitchen floor or carpeting

Bottom line up front is the laminate floors and quarter round look amazing.  Thanks for the military discount as well and very generous pricing considering the work that was done.  Based on the overall I would call him for future services. Below is my fair, honest, and thorough review since it is the purpose of why you subscribe to Angie's list.
Pros:
1. He is very professional and boasts experience
2. Helped with moving furniture
3. Cared about his work and followed it all the way through the hiccups in the process but in all fairness he corrected all issues.
Cons:
If you use this service here are a few things I recommend prior to the hand-shake.
1. Ensure he is on site to give you the quote vs. over the phone (this was the root of all issues)
2. Set up a time where both of you can look over the job at the end of the day.  The gentlemen who did the quarter round did a Horrible job, didn't wait for me to check it before he left and resulted in one week delay in getting it fixed.
3. Have a strict timeline as part of your agreement if you are not flexible
4. Timeliness.  There was inclement weather but the from my observation job completion was delayed because of scheduling conflicts on his part with personnel and other high demand jobs took priority over mine.

GREAT, THE WORK WAS DONE WITH CARE AND EFFICIENCY.  THE RESULTS ARE TERRIFIC AND WE WILL ENJOY THESE IMPROVEMENTS FOR A LONG TIME.  THE CREW WAS CAREFUL IN MOVING AND REPLACING FURNITURE. THE CORRECTION OF POOR QUALITY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY NOT ONLY FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT RELIEVED THE FRUSTRATION OF HAVING TO LOOK AT THE BUMPS AND BUCKLES IN THE CARPET DAILY!

THE ABOVE GRADE ON PUNCTUALITY IS DUE TO THE WINTER WEATHER THAT HAS SLOWED THE WHOLE COUNRTY DOWN AND NOT THE FAULT OF THE PROIVDER.  STUFF JUST MOVES SLOWER THRUOUT THE FOOD CHAIN!

It went really well.  They were very timely, professional and friendly.  They were very efficient, they spend their time well and they seemed very knowledgeable.  They were actually pretty good at giving good advice with some other questions and they were able to give us some ideas of other repairs that could be possible be done and whom to contact.  So they were real informative in that regard as well.  They were very friendly, very prompt, they were decently attired, they were not grungy which was very nice and their mannerisms were very pleasant.  They were quiet and went straight to work and got the work done quickly.  As for their responsiveness, we had a couple of delay issues but that was nothing in their control.

He was hired end of September and due to some scheduling issues on my end it did not get started until Dec 2.  He talks a very good game but the end result was dissatisfying to say the least.  It's now Jan 19 and I STILL have no shower.  He said it would take 7-10 day's to finish but it didn't.  He wasn't the one doing the work as he said ..it's his workers... a BUNCH of DIFFERENT people.  I tried to be patient.  He didn't always show up when he said and some days wouldn't show at all with no phone calls (even after leaving him a message).  He left the job PAID but the job not DONE.  (Stupid on my part). He left a HOLE in the tile where the shower flange goes around the shower arm and thought just by buying a bigger (which ended up being the same size) flange it would COVER it up.  The grout is sunken in some spots ... some spots still have holes too.   The floor of the shower was not squared and instead of off centering it a little bit so the eyes wouldn't just go to the UNEVEN side (like it has to now) ... they have one edge that is uneven.  They gave me measurements for a glass shower door that were WAY off.  I thought he could install it but he wasn't sure of himself so I hired where I bought it from. Only for them to come out (yes I paid extra for the door and the installation) to find out the door doesn't fit. He also said he'd install my lights and he didn't do that either.  Also my floor keeps popping as you step from the bedroom to the bathroom.  He tried to screw the wall to the beams but broke my baseboard (which he did fix) and my carpet is now stained from them walking in and out.  They also leave a mess everywhere which my husband made them clean up. Please don't "TRUST" his word, I'm sorry I did.

I sincerely hoped tiling additional walls,adding extra insert in wall of shower,at no added cost ($1000 value) was compensation for my end of schedule issues. We have since down sized our team so I can be more involved in every installation personally. we appreciate the C rating and will certainly stand behind all workmanship."

I had a very good experience with them. They did a very good job on the hardwood floors and the second time they put in some ceramic tiles for me. He was really flexible. He worked around my schedule. The only negative that I would say is that sometimes they were not on time, which is obvious when you deal with small businesses but overall I was very satisfied. I had three estimates done and they came towards the middle. Their price was reasonable.

Installation of tile was good.  Problem we experienced was that they cut the doors off 2 inches above the floor.  This allows all sorts of critters in the house.  Made the old mistake of trusting his word and paying them with promise they would come back and install thresholds.  First call responses from Darrell was that it slipped his memory.  Kept promising to come and fix the problem but never came.  Now my calls are not being answered.  Finally I left voicemail that I would have problem repaired and send him the bill.  No response or payment for the repair.

Our experience with them is good. They did a good job. They do good quality work, and they are pretty dependable. For them to do our living room it was around $800. The dining room and kitchen comes out to around $1200. We would use them again.

I had contacted Darrell back in Februrary for a quote on replacing 3 bedroom carpets and my kitchen linoleum. He was very professional and courteous, and came out the very next day with his wife Holly. He provided me with the best quote I had found, which included not having to replace my padding under the carpets. For 3 bedrooms and my kitchen linoleum, his price was by far less than what I had been quoted just to do my 3 bedrooms. We set up an appointment to come back with some samples of carpet and linoleum a few weeks later. At the next appointment he and Holly came and I made my selection, and also conveyed that since we will be moving soon, I really wanted to wait on doing the master bedroom until the very last minute (we have 2 dogs and they sleep in our room, which equals lots of fur and dirt). He was very flexible in coordinating that and allowed me to pay for the carpet and rooms that were getting done at that time. When the day to install the rooms arrived, Darrell, Holly and their son arrived promptly at 9 as they said they would. Not only were they quick and efficient, Holly made a lunch run and brought something back for me too! The kitchen and bedrooms look fantastic! We set up to do the master about a month later and Darrell and Holly came out today to complete the room. There were a few spots I had noticed in my kitchen that started to bubble and Darrell was happy to take a look and reassured me it was due to the seams of the subflooring. Again they brought me lunch, and Darrell even fixed the leg of my jewelry cabinet that was in dire need of repair that I had just not gotten around to. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of any type of flooring needs. They are a fantastic team and great people. They were kind and respectful to me, and showered my 15 month old daughter with praise as well. A++

We met Darrell & Holly through a mutual friend and he came out the same day and did an estimate.  His estimate was lower than the same estimate we received from another company in town.  Darrell took us to the best places to purchase our needs, carpet, tile, laminate flooring and saved us on material.  His overall performance was excellent. 
As the project progressed we needed skilled people in other areas, plumbing, drywall, paint and roofing.
Darrell was happy to suggest competent people in these fields, scheduled their work and made sure they completed their task as directed.
Over al Darrell & Holly saved us 30% on the improvements we planed to do with our home

He came to house and started the project, only to mess up somehow. I had to buy new materials so he can continue working. The quality of his work was very poor and I noticed that he put us off to work on other projects. It was obvious we were not a priority when the other jobs started coming in. When I approached him about not being satisfied with his work, he became very angry and decided he wasn't coming back. Not only did he leave my house in a mess, and stole $2000, but he didn't finish the work. I do not recommend this company and I will never use his services again.

The total cost was going to be $2485. He asked for $600 upfront. After 2 days of work he asked for $500 more. Two days later he asked for $1000 more. He was still not completed with the job, wasn't showing up on time, was working other jobs while in the middle of mine, and I had almost paid him the total owed. After paying him all that money, he didn't show the following day. He said he had to go house hunting..he was going to buy a new home with his girlfriend. (by the way, he doesn't have his own vehicle, his girlfriend brought him everyday). He also has a DUI record. The next day I was getting nervous because he had most of the money I owed him and he showed up for 20 minutes, left to do another job, and didn't come back. The following day he showed up late, said he had to go to Home Depot, but that he'd be back in 30 minutes. He showed up 2 hours later. I had a guy from the military come talk to him (my husband was in Iraq at the time) to set him straight and to make sure that the job gets done in a timely manner. Darrel got angry and said that I insulted him so he had no incentive to come back to finish the job. He never came back. He took my $2100 and ran. Do not use this guy. He didn't use spacers when laying my tile, he was in a hurry, and he was too busy doing other jobs while doing mine. He took my money and did not complete the job. He left me hanging with my house torn up.

The boss told me to call him cause he forgets a lot. We had several other jobs for them but they forgot to do them. Of course they will not get that work. The invoice was for 157 square feet. They had to remove the refrigerator. The invoice was for $292. On 1/14 we put a depost of $145. When he actually did the work he asked me for the invoice and I could not find it. He had not brought one with him. I paid him an extra $140.
