Installed all HVAC in our new home 6 years ago as arranged by general contractor.  We moved in our new home in November 2008, when we turned on our a/c that first summer, 2 of our 3 a/c units were not working.  They came out and fixed them.  The main one has worked since then, but the upstairs one has had issues every year.  It seems to always be the same problem.  They come back, do a temporary fix, charge us, then it works for awhile and then we are back to the same problem again.  
One time they actually rerouted the a/c water drain-off through our soffit.  The guy said it was a temporary fix, but it dripped into our front garden sometimes a couple of gallons a day until I got the general contractor to get them back out here to fix it right.  They ended up rerouting it through our general sewer line since they weren't able to fix the drain.  They didn't charge us for the rerouting(and it did take awhile) since it had never worked from the installation.
Anyway, now we are back to summer again, and it isn't working again.  I called them as well as two other companies.  They gave me a time frame 9-12 when they would come by.  They never called or came.  I waited at home all day Friday and never heard from them.  When I called to ask where they were around 1pm, they acted annoyed on the phone and said the technician would call me (which he never did).  I called a couple of hours later and no one picked up.  Because they didn't come, I lost my chance to get my a/c fixed all the long weekend since Monday was a holiday when I could have gone with another company.  I left multiple messages on Tuesday because no one ever picked up.  On Wednesday I finally heard from a technician who said he could stop by next, but I wasn't home at the time and missed my chance I guess.  I decided to go with another company.  These guys are not reliable.  I will leave a review on the other company once the work is completed.

I was out of town and my wife had to deal with a broke heater system.
She called one company and they came out. They wanted 250-290 to change the thermostat.~that includes the 80 bucks service call~ In her words  "Just out 80 bucks to tell me that.  HE WAS A JERK!!!!!" - she said
 
Then she told me she found a wonderful company.  They are charging 50 bucks to come out and put a used thermostat in and check what the Jerk did. Normally cost 75 for service call, 85 for thermostat.
 
Again her words  "I was upset when I called them and told them about my experience - It was horrible!!! Dawson answered all my question and the tech called and answered more questions.  He give me his number and said he would walk me through the whole process if I wanted to change it myself."
She had him come out and change the thermostat - "They repaired a wire and changed out something.  They said the motor is tight/weak and may go out when ?? that is for the a/c.   I had both thermostat changed.   The charge was just $125.00.  The cost of the thermostats.(actually -25 dollars)" 
She asked why they were doing this and they said cause she got nothing for her 80 bucks and that word of mouth was more important then a one time fix and they wanted us as a customer.
At least she handled it well and the company won a faithful customer. If I like them when we return this will be our annual service rep.
My wife is already sold so I probably don't have a choice.

They were timely, and they were prompt; they came exactly when they said they would be coming.  Their pricing was reasonable; I had gotten a lot of estimates before choosing them.

They were responsive and showed up when they said that they would. The problem was preexisting from before we bought this house. They, with no questions asked, covered the damage that was done and their services. I haven't had a problem since then.

I called this company to see about getting my air conditioning system serviced.  On the phone I was told that they were not able to come to my house for about two weeks, and that the location of my house was not really in an area (geographically) that they normally come to, so there would be an additional "service charge" for coming to my house.  Their quote for the basic cleaning and servicing of the air conditioning unit seemed excessive to me too.  Ultimately, the company that did do the work camre right out that same day, with no additional charge for where I live, and their charge for the cleaning and servicing was considerably less than this company.  I would definately NOT recommend this company.  I wasn't very impressed with their attitude on the phone.

They called and scheduled a time and they were able to get there early so they called me. By the time I got there 20 minutes later they were done with the job. I?ve had no problems with the unit since.

From start to finish these folks were professional, prompt, and thorough. Dawson and Dawson completed the entire job within the time promised and cleared away all debris as well. Their folks were very careful not to disturb anything in the house. All were friendly, courteous and willing to fully answer any questions we had during the installation of our new air conditioner and furnace.

My experience with Dawson and Dawson has been a pleasure. From the time I schedule the service call until they walk out the door - it is a great service experience. They installed our current home heating and cooling units and made sure everything was cleaned up, including taking out all the old ductwork, insulation etc. Nothing was left behind for me to clean up. When they come for a service call, they arrive promptly, the serviceman is clean, polite and respectful of our home and our time! Of course the cost is very reasonable and they stand behind what they do! Love 'em!
