Ms. Mary Beth always takes the time to make sure everything you need for your child is taken care of so you don't have multiple visits. She is very thorough and because of her my son is getting all of the extra help he needs.
Description of Work: We have used Centennial Pediatrics for over six years. Ms. Mary Beth is the best provider I have used there, I would recommend her to anyone!

Overall the staff was friendly, but seemed tired, overworked and overwhelmed. I think management could do a better job of scheduling...

Dr. Faust is great. My daughter can usually get in to see him within a day or so and I can usually pick any time we need. I have found that if you don't go right at 8am, you might be waiting awhile in the waiting room which can be pretty hectic. Just recently they also got toys for the waiting room, so it's not THAT bad anymore since the kids can play.
Description of Work: My daughter sees Dr. Faust and he is really good with her. She has seen him for a few things but mostly for well baby check ups.

The Doctors here are excellent. They really take their time during the examinations. One issue that I have is that it takes a long time to get in sometimes. My 1 year old's check up was pushed back several months. There is just a lot of patients that go here.

I typically do not like going to pediatricians. I actually like them.

The actual treatment rendered was fine, but her bedside manner left much to be desired. She did not interact with my child at all but only looked at me. I felt that she did not really want to be there.

My appointment with Dr. Faust was at Centennial Pediatrics, scheduled at 8:30. They asked me to come in at 8:00 in order to complete paperwork, as my daughter was a new patient. The waiting room was clean and accommodating. After completing paperwork, I was called for my appointment just a few minutes after 8:30. It's possible that my appointment was so close to "on time" because it was early in the day. A nurse took my daughter's vitals. I did think it was odd that she did not ask me to remove all of my daughter's clothing or her cloth diaper to weigh her. I'm guessing the weight was several ounces off since she was not fully undressed when being weighed. Other than this situation, my interaction with the nurse was just fine. When Dr. Faust came in, I asked to talk about vaccines and wanted to discuss the possibility of using an alternate schedule. He started by telling me that I "shouldn't believe everything on the internet." Instead of having a discussion with me, he told me that in an Eastern European country (he could not say which country exactly), a recent polio epidemic killed 400 children. This information was presented to me as a scare tactic, not as a valid benefit of vaccinating US infants according to the CDC schedule. I'm aware that vaccinations are a controversial topic, but I wish Dr. Faust would have approached this conversation as a chance for education and information. Instead, he approached my inquiry with immediate judgment and dismissed the possibility that I could possibly know anything about the topic besides internet gossip. I do not have a problem with Dr. Faust's approach to medicine, but I do take issue with his bedside manner. I hope to find a doctor who welcomes a parent's desire for information and participation in the decision making process for their child's health care plans. After this short exchange about vaccines, I did ask Dr. Faust to complete an exam on my daughter and to have two vaccines administered. He took a few minutes to complete a physical exam and then left. The nurse came back to the room, asked me to sign a waiver since I declined some vaccines, and administered one shot and one oral medication. As I left the appointment, I asked to have a copy of my daughter's medical records since I would be changing pediatricians. It took several attempts with different staff members to get copies of all pages, including a copy of the immunization record. A note from Dr. Faust on the record stated that "Mother requests altered vaccine schedule. I had long discussion including rationale, CDC/AAP recommendations, and risks of delaying vaccines." It seems that Dr. Faust considers "long discussion" to be under five minutes. As I left the office at about 9:45, I did notice that the waiting room was significantly more crowded than when I arrived earlier in the morning. If I planned to continue going to this practice, I would definitely ensure I always made appointment as early as they are scheduled.
Description of Work: First appointment with this pediatrician for a 2 month well baby check up.

The nurses are overworked and rude. There are far too many children, and it is understandable, but it is crazy. Dr. Engler knows his stuff, but he just isn't very friendly and can seem a bit elitist. But he will listen if you speak up. He isn't very gentle, nor are his nurses.

I have been there several times and had the same experience every time. I make an appointment a month in advance, show up on time, and wait for three hours. There is nothing for children to do in the waiting room, so the children are restless. The staff is unfriendly and don't want to be there as much as you do. After waiting an eternity, the doctor comes in for 10 minutes, rushes out and tells you to wait for the nurse to come and give vaccinations, which takes another 30 minutes. This is the WORST doctors office I have ever been to, I was going to change to tricare standard just to go somewhere else.

I waited entirely too long for basic check ups where no true exam was needed and they never seemed to have the vaccines my daughter needed for her follow ups and these are vaccines that all newborns and infants need at their 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, 12 month follow ups! Never again, will my daughter go here!
Description of Work: The staff is always friendly that is why I chose this clinic, however they overbook all their appointments for the day b.c every time I have been there in 7 months I have waited over an hour just in the waiting room not to mention once you are called into the exam room you must wait an additional amount of time as well (about and hour also). I have never left this clinic in less than 3 hours for routine check ups. This is absolutely ridiculous especially when you have young children. Trying to keep them patient for so long is next to impossible. The waiting room is drab with no play room or TVs and there are so many people in there at once that many have to stand. I have made complaints with the office before but no one ever addressed them nor did they seem to care. Also the past 3 times I brought my daughter in for her follow up shots they did not have the shots they needed which required me to make yet another appt. Someone was not doing inventory correctly. Why couldn't someone have called me before I waited 3 hours to hear they don't even have the vaccines?! I will never bring my daughter to this clinic again!
