Bob was quick to return my phone call requesting an estimate- and was able to conduct it for us approximately one week later. The job was hindered by rain, but the tree removal was done to our satisfaction once mother nature cooperated. All debris was removed with no small branches left in the yard. At our request, he left two piles of mulch to use in our flower beds. Both Bob and his employee were very respectful and answered all my questions about the process and even made some recommedations to other smaller trees to install later on to provide shade.

They called and came out promptly when they said for an estimate. Came back with the truck and had the tree down and gone before I knew it. Will be using them again

Bob took down a tall tree in one day. Prompt and Professional in every regard.

He has done it a couple of times for me. The price was fair and I didn't feel like I was gouged. He is prompt and does a good job. He comes when he says he is going to come. He does it when he says he is going to do it. I haven't had anyone else do anything like this. He has done a good job.

Bob and his crew did an excellent job. I rated him a B on responsiveness because it did usually take more than 24 hours to get a return call. However, he and his crew showed up on time, did the work requested in a timely and clean manner. No muss and no fuss. Would certainly use him again.

He completed the job in a timely manner and came when he said he would. He cleaned up are yard so well you would have never known he was here.

The tree service guy did a good job of cleaning up. The other estimates that we had received were over $1000 and so we were very well pleased with their price. Overall, they were excellent. The price was excellent. They did a good job. He was responsive and he came on time. He was very professional. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

We are very pleased with the service and quality of work we received from Bob Evans and his team. Bob is very friendly and provided me an estimate the day after I spoke to him originally, and was willing to come when it was convenient for me which was after 6pm. His quote was very reasonable and compared to other estimates I had received, his was the best choice. After telling Bob that we would like to use his services he phoned to tell me that he would try to come the next week, sure enough Bob and his team were at our house on Monday and completed the work to my specifications. My husband was working from home while Bob and his team were there and my husband said that he wasn't bothered at all by the work they were doing, they were very quiet and respectful and only had machines on when they were using them. This was a great relief for my husband because he was afraid he'd have to go elsewhere while they were there. Bob and his team's work was great, we were very pleased with the two trees he removed and the look of the pruning he did around the house. We will definitely be using Bob Evans Tree Service in the future.

I called at least 7 different companies, mostly left messages and was able to get 3 out to give me estimates. l called on 4/25/2010. One man told me he would come by after a certain time and didn't show or call. Robert Evans came out last night after 6 and spent quite a bit more time assessing the tree and the layout of my yard and fences. The other two men told me that they would have to back a bucket truck up close to my privacy fence, parking in my and my neighbor's side yards. They assured me they would be able to reach it from there (about 11-12 feet away from the tree in the backyard). Mr. Evans told me that any bucket truck parked that far away would not be able to get up high enough without roping off too heavy a section of the tree top and that he would just climb the tree. I was a little wary of that, as one man had told me that he "wouldn't climb THAT tree" but he seemed confident and spent time explaining to me exactly how he would do it, pointing at sections of the tree that he would start at, etc. He said he had been doing this for 17 years. I called him back later that night after doing some internet searches for complaints or anything. He agreed to come out first thing in the morning because we have a storm coming up this weekend. He was finished by lunchtime and I can hardly tell there was anything done, except the tree is GONE and there are very minimal patches of fine wood chips. I was VERY pleased with his demeanor, punctuality, price and the quality of his work. An overall positive experience - how often can you say that with this type of work?
