was charged a diagnosis fee on top of labor and parts when MOST plumbing and AC business will waive the diagnosis fee if hired. replace fill valve and supply line 156.39 (under $30 at lower or home depot) do 120 labor replace seal on toilet 22.26 diagnosis 50.00 rental discount -15.00 would not recommend

"We were contacted by the rental company that manages this property on 01/17/2020 and we were instructed to provide an estimate for the work that needed to be done. The estimate was done on 01/20/2020 and we attempted to get the approval to complete the service while we were on site. Approval was not given at that time, so the estimate/trip charge of $50.00 was invoiced to the rental company. (Which is our standard policy that the rental company was aware of) We did receive the approval to complete the toilet repair on 01/21/2020 @ 3:09 PM, at which time we entered the call back into our system and rescheduled with the tenant. The work was completed on 01/24/2020. The price to complete the service, $163.65, was approved by the rental management company. Our reputation in this community has not been built on being the cheapest plumber available. Our focus has always been to offer reliable, quality and friendly service at a reasonable price."

Super! I can't say enough about how good this company is, they are fair in price, and never over charge, they are always on time, and clean up after themselves. My husband and I both appreciate the service we get from them. We have told other friends and family members about them.

Jeff came out and told us what the problem was and that is was an easy fix. He was courteous and professional. He was patient with our dogs and was careful when moving around them. The price was a lot less than we had anticipated. We are very pleased with Alford Plumbing and will recommend them to everyone we know.

The workers were very professional and the installation was expedient and clean. The workers were neat and quick too without sacrificing quality and skill. Crawling under the house, to install the venting and new gas line, they wore full body jumpsuits and when they were required to come back into the house, they shed the dirty jumpsuits and put clean covers over their shoes to keep the floor as clean as an in- and- out job could be. Excellent respect for the property and care for their work.

I must say this is a great business. We had originally called one the bigger 24/7 guys that is also here on Angies list thinking that that would be able to get to us sooner....with 3 kids a toilet back up is a full on crisis. However, the "big guys" couldn't get here until TOMORROW afternoon. That is a toilet death sentence! I called Alford next since they had such great reviews, they were over in 20 minutes from my call, they were courteous, quick, and I couldn't be happier. And they didn't mind at all when I used my angies list coupon to help with the bill and they let me know that they fully warranty the work in case the problem returned. I could not be happier with their service and from now on these are my go to guys.

We called early Friday afternoon, AND their service man was here within a couple of hours, AND he replaced the garage disposal by 4:30 p.m. Now THAT is service -- excellent service! The replacement unit was identical to the old one, and the price charged was LESS than what we had paid 8 years earlier at Lowe's. Jeff C. has been our plumber for many years, dating back to his previous employer. We've always found him to be not just courteous but pleasant. He was always knowledgeable, and his added experience has made him even more so! Alford's is fortunate to have him, as well as their other service people who have helped us.

Temperature in the teens and a dripping spigot had turned into a steady stream. Called Alford's early in the morning and Jeff was at our home that evening. Relatively small job, but urgent that it get done. Jeff very professional, explained the cost in advance. I give Alford very high marks for responsiveness. We will call for all of our plumbing needs.
