Our air conditioning wasn't working correctly, so we called Wilbanks, who had done our servicing the year before. Mr. Wilbanks found that the drainage on the heat pump was running under the house, so he spliced a drain into our septic line, which is a building code violation. Our house started smelling of sewer gasses within an hour of his leaving, and we had to turn off the air conditioning because of it. The gasses and bacteria could have made my whole family very sick, since it was being pumped through all of our ductwork. When we called his service, they assured us that someone would be out to fix the issue the next day. After 3 days of calling and rescheduling, we cancelled the check we wrote Wilbanks and hired someone else, who ran the drainage line out away from our house to an area where it could drain properly.
