I've used this comapny before, We've had problems with our roof for many years, it leaks. When it's flat it collects water, every time it rains. This comapny is using a type of material that is really thick, like a rubberized canvas. Much better material vs. tar. also adding gutters, they are doing great. They are keeping everything clean as well.

The work they did was good but they didn't hold to their word as far as when they'd be there, that kind of thing.

Tommy was quick to come out and give me an estimate for my roof leak that was causing damage inside my garage. After I signed a contract and agreed on a price, there was large delay in him coming out and was rescheduled several times. After "fixing" roof, roof still leaked. More calls to Tommy with more promises of fixing quickly. Long story short, it took him 3 different attempts and 2 months later to fix my roof. He also attempted to gouge me another $200 on the third attempt even though it was the same job he never repaired in the first place. Told me his work was not warrantied but I complained to the owner and was not charged a second time.

the initial installation was great.  A couple of years later there were leaks around the chimney flashing and they came back and repaired those, of course with an additional charge.  A couple more years and it leaked again.  They came back out repaired it and I wrote another check..

January or February 2015 the leak was back.  I called them back spoke with them, someone came out and looked and told me we needed a "rail system" around the chimney.  I told them to go ahead and do it.  They never came back.  I called them several times since then spoke to whoever answers the phone, and was told someone would get back to me.  Never got a response.

Davis Brothers appears to be in the business of putting roofs on asap, getting paid, moving on to the next job.  I guess they don't make enough money repairing their botched jobs to bother with them.

They always show up when scheduled. We have used them for other projects and they always clean up after themselves.

I got one metal crew and the rest of shingle crew. So, I had to wait. It took them two days. Wonderful. These guys are really good. They were very professional. They did one great job.

I felt they were very unprofessional in the manner that they approached the job and also the finished product. They simply threw their scraps and cigarette butts in the yard, even after a bucket was provided and they had to be asked to use it. They were not careful around the landscaping and screws were found for months after the job. After the first hard rainstorm, we noticed leaking around the chimney pipe onto the woodstove and also an area in a wall behind the porch roof. They did come back and said they repaired it and reimbursed us for the drywall work that needed done. Once more I noticed water leaking and they returned to repair. However, it seems they simply applied a silicone caulk which did nothing. After 3 years of water damage, the wood siding on the dormers has rotted and the chimney still leaks. I feel that they are responsible because the job wasn't done correctly as far as the placement of flashing and sheets of roofing around the dormers and chimney. I contacted them recently by email but got no response. My husband was ill at the time of this work, and was unable to closely monitor the quality.Soon after the second attempt to repair, he passed away and I was unaware of the continuous damage being caused. I am now in the process of finding someone to repair both the siding and correct the roofing problems. One of the roofers I contacted gave me an estimate for both materials and labor. I purchased the materials but when I called them back to do the installation, they never returned my calls. Now I have materials worth an additional $400 which should not have been necessary had the job been done correctly the first time, not to mention the rotted siding and dry wall damage.

The estimator was very professional and very cordial. However, he gave the impression that the work would be done soon. We had to wait months from the time we signed the work order to the time they actually came. They didn't call to tell us an estimated time they would be coming, nor to confirm that they received my signed work order. I had to call them to confirm they received the work order and several times more to ask when they were coming. They couldn't give me an estimate of when they would be there. I understand that a lot depends on weather, but they could at least call me to tell me an estimated time and that it depends on the weather. They showed up on a day we were returning from being out of town. As it turns out, they had called that morning to tell us they were coming. Very unprofessional. The work was average. They had to come back and fix a couple of things that should have been done right the first time. They left cigarette butts and trash everywhere, and stepped on several plants that had been recently planted. We're still finding Mountain Dew cans and bottles in our bushes and other areas around the house that had been thrown off the roof. I had a plastic sheet covering the leaking parts and instead of asking if I wanted it they just threw it away with the old shingles. At least they didn't throw away the bricks we were using to hold the plastic down. I won't be using them again. We moved to the area several years ago, and I'm finding that this is par for the course with every company in this area, as I am always disappointed with the quality of work done and the professionalism of the workers.

They arrived on time and finished the work in a day. The metal trim of the roof only comes in a white color which my wife did not like since the rest of the trim on the house is brown. They readily agreed to paint the trim brown after the roof segments were installed. I would recommend Davis Brothers to anyone in the area needing roof work done.
