I PURCHASED A HOME THAT HAD AN HEAT PUMP THAT WAS ESTIMATED TO BE FIVE YEARS OLD. THE HEAT PUMP DIDN'T HEAT THE HOME PROPERLY SO I CALLED STEVE AT AFFORDABLE HEATING AND COOLING TO COME OUT AND EVALUATE THE SYSTEM. HE TOLD ME I NEEDED A LARGER UNIT (3TON) AND I LET HIM DO THE JOB. "BIG MISTAKE" THE THREE TON UNIT DIDN'T PERFORM ANY BETTER THAN THE 2-1/2 TON UNIT. HE CAME BACK AND CHECKED THE UNIT AND SAID EVERYTHING WAS OK. IT WASN'T OK AND I CALLED HIM TO COME BACK BUT HE REFUSED. I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY TO EVALUATE THE HEAT PUMP AND HE FOUND THAT THE UNIT WAS ONLY HALF FULL OF COOLENT. IF YOU'RE HAVING HEAT PUMP PROBLEMS YOU WOULD BE WISE NOT TO CALL AFFORDABLE HEATING AND COOLING.
