The final product looks very nice and functions well. However, it was a bit difficult getting to this point.
Communication between the sales team and the owner is poor to say the least. We were told how things would unfold by Zach (sales) and in actuality none of it went the way he said.
I was never called and told when the installers would arrive and had someone show up at our house to work unannounced on 3 occasions.
The subcontractor who was hired to repair the window frame left a large pile of debris, broken glass, and siding in our back yard where our dog plays. He finished up for the day and said, "Sorry, I'm going to have to leave all that for the window installers because I don't have a truck".
The next day when I asked the window installers to clean it up they acted as if it were somehow my fault that it was there and not really their responsibility. They did clean up the major pieces but after they left I had to pick a box full of broken glass, insulation, siding, nails and other debris that was left right in the path where our dog runs.
Fred (owner) made every effort to correct all the mistakes and make everything right. But it's unfortunate because it all could have been avoided from the beginning if someone had simply called us (like Zach told us they would) and came out to go over the work that would be done on the wall/window frame rebuild (as Zack told us they would). And if someone had called before they showed up to do the work. And someone called to say they were coming to Install the windows (as Beau the subcontractor assured us they would). Basically, poor communication made this a pretty big hassle. Which is too bad because the product looks very nice and we really liked Fred and Zach both.
Of town so Fred went over to my house and worked with my renters
to measure the windows that needed replacing, order and replace them.
He advised me about the Rebate Plan that EPB has on replacing windows
so I was able to save $500.
