Another watchmaker had repaired my watch but the stem kept falling out. I drive past their location almost daily, so I finally went in, had the watch with me, and it was fixed - properly - in about 90 seconds! I will be taking other antique clocks and watches to this establishment. Everyone was very knowledgeable and most cordial. I recommend them without reservation.

Condensation had entered my watch and steamed up the inside of the crystal, even though it is a waterproof watch. I took it to The Watchmaker. He checked it and said that the back gasket was not seated properly and that moisture had entered around the crown and that rust was beginning to form inside the watch. He recommended that both the gasket and the crown be replaced, which he did.
He did not have the crown in stock, but had to obtain it from his supplier. It took a couple days to get the replacement crown, but completed the repairs and phoned me the same day the parts arrived in his shop.
