Mr. Thomas came to our home for mold inspection in a closet that we thought was reoccurring.  He and his associate arrived on time and were very cordial.  He examined the area in which we thought there was new mold.  He said the moldy area did not contain live mold and gave instructions for using a product to prime the area for painting.  He also looked at some areas of concern in the basement. He was very knowledgeable and spent some time in educating me about different types of mold and prevention in our home by keeping air flowing.  He did not charge us for the diagnostic visit.  I appreciate his time and the piece of mind that he gave me with his expert advice.

Mr. Thomas showed at our residence after we placed a call to his company for an inspection. After arriving he quickly determined that the area in question was once infested with black mold but had since dried and was not spreading. He also informed us how we should remove the residue as well as quickly and easily repair the area as to avoid unnecessarily paying someone to do it. We were extremely gracious and offered to at least pay either a service or fuel charge but Mr. Thomas steadfastly refused. Imagine that- an HONEST business that actually saved us money! We highly recommend the services of this outstanding company.

Gary promptly came to my house to look into a mold problem I thought I had. He showed he had a lot of knowledge as we walked around the house and underneath. I was grateful to hear that we do not have a mold problem but I will definitely call Thomas Companies in the future if I need to.

He took his time and was very thorough. He answered all of our questions.

I have a ranch style home with 1/2 basement and 1/2 cellar and deteriorating plumbing. I had a slow leak in my plumbing under the house, which caused black mold in that area. I called several companies I found online, but Mr. Thomas came out the very next day to do a FREE inspection! He was very prompt (actually a little early), showed me my problem, and gave me a written estimate.

I had another company I found online come out and give me an estimate, but it was over twice as much! They also would not guarantee their work, but Mr. Thomas gave me a 3-year written warranty! Obviously, I decided to go with Thomas Companies. I called to schedule the job, and he was even able to come out on the weekend to do the remediation for me so I could be there and not have to miss work. I scheduled the appointment for 10 am on Saturday.

Mr. Thomas was here promptly at 10:00. He and his assistant went right to work sealing up my exterior vents. They laid down thick black plastic to prevent moisture from coming back into my home from the ground. And, then treated the entire cellar with a totally organic product to kill the mold... NOT CLOROX!

I was extremely thrilled that his product was completely organic and didn't have fumes that would hurt my dogs, who frequently hang out in the basement. My basement actually smelled pretty fresh, not chemically or harsh, and I was able to get back in the cellar portion the very next day.

I was very pleased with Mr. Thomas, his price, and his professionalism. I would highly recommend him!

The owner is Gary Thomas, and my experience with him was excellent. He was extremely thorough and gave us advice on things that didn?t even have anything to do with what he was out here for. I think he cleared out a drain on our HVAC unit outside because he had checked it to make sure that it wasn?t backing up, and since he saw that there was a little stuff in there, he cleaned it out for us for free. To help us out, he made recommendations about our furnace filters, which was totally unsolicited. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me an idea of what was a fair amount for us to pay to have the job done. He wasn?t offering to do it but told me that if we didn?t find anybody else, he would be happy to come back and do it. He is actually from Chattanooga which I didn?t know. He drove all the way here to do all of this and wouldn?t take any money at all, for anything. It was a pleasure to work with somebody who was so honest. Basically, he told me that I didn?t have the problem I thought I had and that I had a very insignificant problem actually.
