THE TREE MAN

I paid Mr. Williams to cut some trees on my property on Tuesday. He said he would get right to it and then he returned to say he would do it first thing in the morning. The following morning he started my job and then moved to a job across the street and finished it. He then disappeared and I had to call and found him that evening, he said he would return later that day or in the morning to finish the work. After me having to call he finally appeared the next day, late in the evening and said he would return the next day to finish it up. He arrived for work and stupidly I allowed him to talk me into adding two trees to what he would cut, because he said he needed the money, with the promise that he would haul them off since my trash had been picked up for the month. He did not finish the job and showed up on Saturday and left my work site twice to line up new jobs. When I asked him to please finish my work, (I wanted him to get new work, but that it was important to finish what he had starter), he got mad and then said he could not do the job as promised and was very rude. He did not finish my job and left a mess, it took my boyfriend, a neighbor and I over an hour and a half to clean. I would not recommend dealing with this man. I am providing the pictures of the mess he left. When he bid the job it included cleanup.

This is the most extraordinary man I have ever had dealings with. He trimmed a rather big tree. My husband made the contract with him. When he finished I asked him the cost. I miss understood him and wrote the check for $450. Later that day he came back to return the overpayment. I was flabbergasted to see such honesty...and I am sure he could use the extra money at this time of the year.
