Termite treatment was good, but for other bugs it was Poor, sad, and useless

Discovered termite damage after 10 years of "treatment" by Terminix. Never can get in touch with the local office, always have to go through the national call center. They will "have someone contact you within 24 hours," but it never happens. We called when we found termites in one area of our office. A guy came out after a day or two, looked around in the basement, sprayed something in the wall and said that he would send a "team" to come back and do the proper treatment. They never came. About 2 weeks later, we found another colony on the other side of the office. We called again. Again we got the call center. Two days later, 2-3 guys came out and spent half the afternoon in the basement. 3 weeks later our construction guys came in to replace the floor boards that were damaged and found HUNDREDS more live termites in the exact place that was supposedly treated. We called again. Again we got the call center. Again we were told someone would contact us within 24 hours to schedule a treatment (not to come out and treat). I'm still waiting. It's been 2 days and no call. I called again first thing this morning and again got the call center. I've been assured someone will call me "as soon as possible." Apparently, "as soon as possible" was the following Monday. They finally came out, looked at our problem, said "it takes 90 days for the chemicals to work" (information that should have been given when it was done), but that they needed to confirm the work had been done -- the guy who did it was on vacation. They were to call last Wednesday. The manager said "if they don't call, have them page me." ... it's Monday again and still no call. So I got the call center again and asked them to page the manager of the Chattanooga office. Apparently, if the voice message they receive when they call the local office doesn't say paging is an option, then they can't page. This is just unacceptable. I've never dealt with a more inept group of customer "service" providers in my life. Our contract is up in a couple of months. We will not be renewing. I don't understand why it isn't possible for someone from the call center to have a direct number for the supervisor of the local office for incidents like this that require immediate attention. But then, I also can't figure out how after 10 years of "treatment" we have termites.

They are on a 3 month rotation unless there is a problem. I have used them at least 25 years. I like the professionalism regarding their services. They need to improve the training of the techs and if there is a problem with a tech not performing or doing duties correctly they need to switch out. Ive had to switch with them, and the tech I have now is a very good tech. They tried to find excuses for the tech not performing services rather then changing to another tech. I am very satisfied with the tech I have now. They do not advise the customers on a price increase,  it needs to be done ahead of time, instead of an invoice.

It is normally$240 but I paid $99.  I was going to change providers so they changed the price. Scheduling is pretty convenient.

They are okay. Very quick inspection.

They do have internet access to our account. The only problem is that the local office and the internet do not seem to be together on when the technician is coming to inspect. They will say they are coming one day and then they don't so they really need to improve that.

It was fine.  The best thing is they are timely with there appointments.

The house was 9 years old and they had been doing the preventative maintenance the whole time. They would come and spray either once or twice a year and then the preventative maintenance was supposed to be what we thought was a check and make sure kind of thing and then spray. It turned out we had been paying them to do something that they never did every year. It was about a $400 preventative maintenance that never got done. In the end they told us that that is not what they did. They just came around to check. We were paying for what we thought was spraying but they were not spraying they were just messing the house. It was pretty deceitful. It was a all brick house, and we didn't know we had termites until they started eating inside the bedroom wall. They ate several holes  in the wall, and we didn't even realize that was happening until we started taking pictures down and stuff, and we had to have that fixed at the last minute, and hope that it didn't bring down the sale of the house. According to Terminix, they got it fixed, and the guy who bought our house got a clean health letter from a different company. Terminix came out and exterminated them and killed them, and if that hadn't worked, they would have done the sheet rock and all. If we were staying there, we would have them do the sheet rock. They were supposed to refund the money but they still haven't. A Terminix guy came one day, and asked to come inside, and he wasn't in uniform. We weren't expecting anyone, but his reason was to come in and check around the house and check everything, and he was in there for a good 30 to 40 minutes, and it was after that that we found the termites. I don't really know what his purpose was, he didn't find it. My husband had used him all those years, and he said they never had to come inside. We didn't get our service. They responded pretty well. I didn't think they were too professional, because the guy was there without uniform.
