Tim Swafford is very easy to work with and easy to talk to when things come up in the project.  Not your typical contractor just there to get the job completed as quickly as possible.  They spent about 5 months on our project and it looks unbelievable.  Better than we imagined.

Dear Tim,

I just wanted to let you know how extremely happy John and I are with the home remodeling you and your crew did at our house.  We could not have asked for anything better. Everything went so smoothly. It was a wonderful experience for us from the very beginning through to the end of the project.

I was referred to you by a local paint store business.  That night, I checked to see if you had a website, which you did.  Your credentials and photos of your work were impressive.  I saw that you had a ?Contact Us? box which I clicked.  I completed the form and submitted it.

You responded promptly by calling me the next morning.  I told you what I wanted done, addition of wainscot board, chair rail and baseboard to our foyer and two halls; painting our dining room and front door; and replacing our back deck door. You said that you could come to our house that evening to look at the job.  You arrived when you said you would.  You showed me samples, took measurements, made some suggestions, helped me pick out paint color, made notes and told me you would give me an estimate the next day.  The price you quoted was within our budget and we set the start date.

You brought the supplies the evening before the work was to start.  Your carpenter, Dave Penney, arrived exactly when you said he would be here. He even brought our newspaper to us each morning when he came to work.  The painter, Henry Wilburn, arrived also exactly on time.  Both of these men were very courteous, personable and worked diligently.  We felt very comfortable leaving them in our house alone when we had to go out for an appointment.   At the end of each day, they vacuumed and cleaned up all the work areas in our house.  Throughout the project, you either came by or called to check on the progress and to make sure all was going well.

When I saw how pretty the wainscoting looked, I asked if you also add crown molding in the foyer and halls.  You said that you could. 

All of this work was completed before you estimated, which worked out very well for us.

A few weeks later, I saw some photos that I liked of dining rooms that had French doors.  Because of the positive experience we had with you and your crew, I called you about adding them to our dining room.  You again promptly came to our house.  Dave and Henry did another wonderful job for us.

Everyone compliments the additions to our house. We just cannot say enough how much we love the remodeling work you did.  We would highly recommend you to everyone. 

Swafford Construction is truly a professional group with high quality craftsmanship and top notch customer service.  We will definitely call you again for our next project. Thanks!

Tim Swafford was recommended to us by someone, but his company also had an excellent rating on Angie's List. Right from the start, Tim was professional and our contract was clear, concise and, surprisingly, at the end of the project, the entire cost was exactly what we expected! The quality of the work was even more than we expected! During the work (began in September and finished in January) it seems we were constantly noticing examples of really good craftsmanship involving the wood structures and also noticed things that were done to enhance the existing space around the work area, i.e. adding gravel under a stairway for extra outdoor storage, replacing more gutter than they were actually responsible for on the house and leaving us the ability to raise the ceiling height in an addition at some time in the future. If there was any question, the crew would always do more than was expected. One really nice surprise was how easy Tim Swafford was to contact during the entire process. His entire staff was friendly and professional. We have nothing but good things to say about this company.

Both jobs turned out beautifully thanks to Tim Swafford. His knowledge of building, eye for design, attention to detail and remarkable crew made both jobs a pleasure from start to finish. Tim did the design work on the loft build-out: I told him what I wanted, he drew it and made it work perfectly. Really impressive talent with an easy going personality. His goal was for me to be happy with the end product and I was!
