Scenic City Tile and Granite

Initially the company was pleasant and easy to work with. The order was placed at a fair price and a quick turn around date for delivery was given. This is when things went south. When the installation crew placed the countertop it was quickly evident that something was wrong with the dimensions. I immediately called the company and was told I'd need to speak to the owner. The installers also assured me that if I contacted the owner that they would fix the issue.

However, I have now attempted to get the owner on the phone 4 separate times (3x leaving a message with a real person and once via voicemail) and also have sent an email. Each time I've called I've been given the run around about how he's busy or out and that he will call me back. I have yet to be called back.

I feel that now that they have my money that they are ignoring me hoping I'll just go away. This is the most unprofessional business owner that I've ever dealt with.

I am now pursuing a dispute for the charges through my credit card company and considering litigation.

Easy shopping and good selection.  Showroom associates were knowledgeable.  Prices were almost the same everywhere I shopped. There were several weeks between installs due to some issues with our kitchen island.  They were understanding with that scheduling.  
After the fact I wish a template had been made as the counter does not sit flush against the wall as this in an older home.  First installer had to put adhesive in the seam.  He evidently spread this with a dirty finger as the the seam in this bright white stone shows this.  I mention this so future countertop customers will not feel embarrassed to ask the installer to wash before this step.
Second installer was the true pro in their staff.  He had to make a very small and intricate cut for a downdraft fan and did it very well.  I will be asking for him when it's time for the bathroom counters.

They measured incorrectly in the first install, and they came out the next day with the correct one and installed it. The quality was high and the price was low.

Jennifer was very good in providing guidance on selection of granite slabs and design features.
Charley and his staff did a good job of fabrication and installation with one minor exception. After installation we noticed there was a large crack on one of the bathroom countertops between the edge and the sink. It appears like a crack that happened during fabrication or installation. It had been adequately patched and repaired. What bothered us was that no one brought this to our attention and did not give us an option of whether to patch it or replace it. By the time we discovered it, it was too late to do anything.
Responsiveness of communication sometimes suffered. It often required multiple voice mails before getting responses.

I was more than satisfied with the work. They were on time. The quality of the job was excellent. They are very customer-focused during the whole experience.
