Play Dog Excellent LLC

When I drop my dogs off, they treat them like family and I never worry about them until I pick them up. They're very reasonable. I'm using them tomorrow.

The class was 6 weeks and all the weeks built on each other and provided great tips.

They were recommended to me by my veterinarian because I have five rescue dogs, and they all have issues. The difference that I saw in my dogs after even the first session of training, was astounding. The ladies who worked there were very knowledgeable, and they were very professional. When they have six or eight dogs in a class, they have six or eight different sets of issues that they have brought to the class. Their training methods and the amount of information that they gave me about the class was really good. Miss Miller, who is the owner, also does flower essential oils for the dogs, and she gave me some calming oils for my dogs that just worked miracles. The agility classes were fun, for the people and for the dogs. I had three dogs in training at one time, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. The only issue that I had, was that the reception staff was probably the least friendly of all the staff, which is amazing because that is the first person that I see when I go in there. There were several ladies at the reception desk that I had interactions with, and they were less than friendly, but the training staff was beyond excellent.

PDX are friendly and efficient. They keep their promises. The place is clean. They like the dog and the dog likes them and always comes back in good shape.

It looks like a good place. I haven't had much experience there yet but I would give it a chance. The appointment was not excellent but it was good. I paid $60 for the appointment with the holistic vet.

Though I grew up with pets, I had never owned an "inside" dog. That all changed when we brought Blitz (a 4 month old Dachshund) home with us in September of 2007. Cute, funny, curious, and totally opposed to being house trained. About a month later I was exasperated and ready to admit defeat. Then I found Play Dog Excellent (PDX) in the phone book and the PDX website. Sounded like an answer to prayer so I completed an application for puppy training class that began that very night. Puppy school was an eye-opener. Hey, it wasn't just our pup that had ADHD, pretty common as a matter of fact. It was an interesting experience. Owners/parents ranged from young families to an elderly couple trying help their pup master paper training. We had hope. Blitz actually listened and completed some basic commands! And Nancy Miller (the Chattanooga Dog Whisperer ) is an absolute genius with dogs; a no-nonsense, here-are-the-rules teacher. PDX also provides doggy day care or day boarding. We decided to let Blitz stay at daycare and overnight board for 5 days in hopes that he would get the housebreaking issue. Worked like a charm. He doesn't seem to understand the lesson at my mom's house but he is accident-free at our home for over 6 months. These folks are serious animal people. The first day we picked him up at daycare, Bev radioed back to the small dog room for the staff that Blitz parents were there to pick him up. This may be a little detail to some people but I was amazed that they knew me and what dog I belonged to. Also, at one of his early days at PDX, my husband informed me that Blitz had been to a birthday party and even came home with a goody bag. So cute and funny! PDX is not an option at our house. My husband lost his job in February 2008 yet we have decided to find a way to get Blitz to PDX at least one day a week. Can t imagine his or our life without his two favorite ladies, Leanne and Nancy. Thanks PDX!
