Northgate Doors replaced my garage’s double door with an insulated Hormann door, installed a high lift to raise the door to within 12 inches of my 12 foot garage ceiling and installed a new torsional opener. (So the door’s Jackshaft is rotated by the opener rather than a center opener pulling/ pushing the door). When open, the door is completely out of the way and there is no opener in the middle of my ceiling either. Nothing blocking my garage lights or ceiling fans. Installation took 1/2 day. Working with Northgate was painless. They were very professional and not pushy like another big garage door company in Chattanooga.

The garage door installation was done very well and we were pleased with the result. The entry door installation went well with the exception of the exterior finish and a streak in the window that will require replacing it. We had a wood colored door so I guess the frame had to be stained to match, therein lies the problem. Long story, short version. They did not tape so the stain wound up on the house in two different colored areas. After 3 trips to the paint store and approximately $50 later I had the right color paint to point up around the door frame. It was not hard to fix, but I didn't want the perps who did it to fix it, one last thing, when I emailed them about the streak in the window, the reply opened with "I wish we lived in a perfect world. . . ". Mr reply was in my world they would have checked it before installation.

However, we did replace the glass and we offered to touch up the paint around the door jamb, but you had already handled that before you informed me of the issue. My installers said they discussed that with you- that some touch up around the door jamb would be needed and that you seemed fine with that. I guess things changed somewhere done the line. Please accept my apology. As you can see from our numerous jobs on Angie'a List, we normally receive excellent customer reviews. I truly believe we deserved a better grade. I'm sorry you don't feel the same. We do appreciate your business very much and look forward to changing your mind, should you need service in the future. Thank you"

Northgate Doors did a terrific job! This is a replacement garage door for a house I am selling. They came out and measured for my new garage door, ordered the color I needed, and confirmed the install date of August 21. They called a couple of days ahead of time to confirm that the date/time was still good. They arrived promptly and took down my old garage door, including tracks and springs. They installed a new garage door, including new tracks and spring. They left my garage in clean order. My new door looks so nice!
Northgate Doors did not have a special on their doors, but Angie's List customers were given ten percent off. We printed the coupon and they honored it.
We will be building a garage at our new house, and I will definitely call Northgate Doors when the time comes to have doors bought and installed.

Okay. Sam arrived within scheduled time frames both times. Tidy, quite and cleaned up his mess. Only problem. Got wrong panel first time and could not come right away to replace.

I have used Northgate Doors before and was pleased with their service and quality. I requested a quote on a replacement garage door back in November, 2014. I told them that I would probably decide on whether to go ahead or not after the first of the year (2015). They were fine with that, held their price and gave me a 10% discount. The door was scheduled for installation in February and they arrived on time, did an excellent job, including discarding the old door.

They were the 4th company to come out over the last year to give me a quote. Their quote was way under the other quotes we got. He cut me a deal on doing both doors, and they did a great job. I could not be more pleased. Another highy recommended company quoted me $750 to fix my garage doors. Northgate quoted me $300, and didn't try to sell me on things I did not really need. I would not hesitate to use them again.
