Mr. Stakely was recommended by the distributor to resolve an issue with an AC unit that the manufacturer chose to ignore. He declared the AC unit a lemon and the distributor agreed to replace the unit. I paid for the labor to install the replacement in 11/10/04. All was good until the spring of 2005 when the AC was not cooling. During the summer months the AC had to have freon added every couple of months. Mr. Stakely said he replaced a part but the problem continued. He would add freon the day after I called unless he was out of town or the week end. The replacement unit was manufactured by the same company. I'm grateful that the distributor tried to take care of the problem. Mr. Stakely is a capable AC man. I'm disappointed that he didn"t fix the problem. Five years of problems with this AC unit and two years with the original unit is enough! I'll never buy a Janitrol AC unit that is manufactured by Goodman Industries again.
