You couldn’t ask for a more professional company. They were prompt and very professional and fixed the problem in no time.

The tech arrived on time and seemed willing to help resolve my problems. My heat pump is around 15 years old and we know that it will need to be replaced sometime in the near future. He gave me a price of $535.00 for a new blower motor plus $100.00 labor (and $55.00 for the service call). He also priced a new heat pump unit for $4100.00 installed. The price for replacing this motor being almost 1/4 the price of a new system caused me to wonder which option would be best. I decided to just pay him for his service call and decide which way I wanted to go before Monday. We had some space heaters to get us by. The $535.00 price for the blower motor seemed high. I looked online and found some replacement blower motors for around $100.00 or so delivered to my home. I realize that these HVAC companies need to make a profit and I'm not wanting to get something for free. I ended up purchasing a motor from a local supplier for $121.00 and installing it myself. This was not the way I wanted to do this but I wasn't in the mood to pay these people an extra $400.00 plus for this motor. I'm sure I paid the retail price for this new motor at my local supplier and this HVAC company should be able to get one cheaper than this. How much is a normal markup on a motor or any part? Is 100% enough? How about 400%? These companies have a hard job and I hated to do my own repairs after they diagnosed the problem but there is a limit to what I am willing to spend. I'm retired and not able to do much these days but I can do a job like this if necessary. The bad weather coming in was also a factor. I realize that this price was just a ballpark estimate and the guy was covering enough to be sure he didn't take a loss on the job. With the internet these days, he should have been able to get an accurate price on this motor just as I did. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth toward these companies. They are free to charge whatever they want for their services. If they feel they need to charge 5 times their cost on parts, I can't change that. I am free to choose not to be a part of this. When the time comes to replace my heat pump, I will be extra careful who I purchase it from.

Joey was on puntual, professional, and knowledgeable. He answered our questions and crawled under the house to resolve some issues we had with the ductwork. The price was less than we expected. I won't use anyone but Maximum.

The guy that came out checked everything and he was just very thorough in just trying to get to the problem. We had another issue after that and they have been here since.

After getting stood up by another HVAC company, and waiting all day for them to show up, i decided i needed to find someone else to help. I found their add in our local Mint Magazine. I called and immediately talked to a gentleman named Mike. I explained to him my problem and what needed to be done. He quoted me a price over the phone of $39 for the service call, and $150 for the replacement labor (the part is covered under my warranty), but said that he would need to come by and check it out to make sure that my original diagnosis is correct. He came by that same day. My wife, who was doing the waiting at home, spoke with him and he confirmed that the blower did indeed need to be replaced. He contacted Carrier to get the replacement, but they didn't have one in stock. They ordered the part for him and said it should be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday (10/15-10/16). Sure enough, Tuesday afternoon i get a call from the company letting me know that the part was in. We scheduled for Mike to come back the next morning (today/10/16) at 8am. He called me at 7:45 to let me know he would be there at 8. He showed up at 7:58, part in hand. We flipped the breaker off, he replaced the part, flipped the breaker back on, everything running 100% again. Great guy, well mannered, casual, and friendly. Answered all of my questions. I would definitely work with these guys again if the need ever arises.

They didn't take responsibility for it. They didn't charge because they didn't fix it but they made it worse. It ruined our ceiling and we had to call our insurance company. We liked them before and then we had this issue. We were very happy with them up until then.
