Unprofessional and obtuse. I hired Langley Roofing to do the roof on my detached garage. They made a mistake, which they admitted, but unfortunately their attempts to fix it only made things worse. The only right way to fix it was to do it over, which obviously they didn't want to do. They wouldn't even agree to a discount. I'm sure they'll reply to this saying their fix was sufficient, but it wasn't. They know it wasn't; they just don't want to admit it because it would cost them. Langley has been a nightmare. Go with anyone else and save yourself some headache.

First & foremost, My wife and I are 100% satisfied with our new roof from Langley. Now for the particulars: Communication from the front office, to the estimator, to the on site manager was top notch. We were kept informed at every step of the process. The quality of the work, left nothing to be desired. From materials, to workmanship, we give A++. As far as the crew on site, we had a team of 7. They were there from about 7:00 am to almost dark. And when they left, you wouldn't have been able to tell they were even there. As far as price goes, we might have been able to save a little by hiring "Chuck & his Truck", but as the old saying goes YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Lastly: Because I promised I would, Kudo's to Andrew, and Chas!! You guys were the best, and rest assured, I will be recommending Langley to anyone who asks.

They came and did a quote very quickly. I kept mentioning to include the soffit. He said he would take care of it too. Had me pay a deposit promptly. After 3 weeks had to call and ask when my roof was going to be done. Came on a Saturday right before Father’s Day. I called and complained that they hadn’t put the moisture barrier down in an area by my office. They came back and checked, which I could not see, and told me it was done. Reminded them about the soffit. It was the whole reason I called a roofer out. After Supervisor who was very kind and assured that it will be done. Then owner got involved and said no as wasn’t on the contract. I had someone else to do soffit. If you want them, I would make sure every little detail on contract, plus get a building permit and photos of moisture paper installed on roof before laying of roof tiles.

Other than the sub overcharging for flashing that was already in the quote and the hassle of phone calls to rectify the overcharge, the job was well done by the Langley crew. Work was performed above expectations.

Excellent experience in spite of the long delays due to an excessive number of rainy days this spring. The hardest part was picking what color shingles to use (I hated the drab brown that looked defeated after 19 years) but the staff had some good color guidance and the end result was perfect (a kind of darkish gray) and enhanced the whole look of the house. Using the higher grade architectural shingles rather than the basic flat type that I was replacing also created a better visual experience. The project took a little over 2 days and the team was there from sun up to sundown working hard. I've attached before and after pictures from 2014 and 2017 (and yes I know--the "landscaping" is the next beast on my list!).

They responded to my request for a roof evaluation very promptly. They inspected the next day, and I went ahead and had them repair the areas that were causing problems. The whole process was wrapped up within a week. They were very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend Langley and would not hesitate to use them again. Given the fact that I now live out of state, it is essential that I hire trustworthy craftsmen, and Langley absolutely fits that bill.

I found him on Angie's List. I've only used them once and it was 4 or 5 days after I got their information off of Angie's List. It was for one of my rental houses.
They've already quoted 6 more of my houses but I just haven't found the time to have them do them yet.

We had a roof leak after a blowing rain. They came out within in a couple days & gave us a very reasonable estimate. We gave them the go ahead to perform the work. I came home that same day thinking we would have to wait until after Christmas & New Years to get the repair done. Before I could even finish that thought I heard banging on our roof & saw their van in front of our home. They finished the repairs, cleaned up & were gone. Did a great job as we had 2 more days with blowing rain & no leak. Great company that has great people.

I've used them several times to complete my primary roof and then they had some guys that do gutters. So I had them do that. I've been very pleased with them. My shed has architectural shingles so it wasn't too much. But the house roof was much bigger. It was $6500. I'd give them A's. They've done numerous jobs for me. I had two other quotes and wow... One quote was $12,000. And the quote from Champion Windows was $11,500. But golly. They just wanted a ridiculous amount of money. I need have an issue, and they came back right away with no problem.

The whole experience was what I expect from service providers. When I called them Monday morning at 8:15 am, Sheila answered right away; she was extremely professional, gracious, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. They were out on Tuesday to give me an estimate which was provided by email just minutes after finishing their review of the roof. They were scheduled to arrive between noon and 1:00 but were held up with a prior job. Sheila called me prior to noon to let me know that it would be between 4:00 and 5:00. She was very apologetic in regards to any inconvenience this may have caused, but I was grateful to have a provider be so proactive and considerate. The scheduler called Wednesday morning and advised me that they could have somebody out later that day. The guys arrived right on time and went to work promptly. They were professional and friendly as well. They cleaned up everything and even checked on the overall health of the roof. They walked through exactly what they did and assured if I had any additional questions. Even though it took them 3 hours compared to what they estimated to be an hour (due to the quality of shingle and its installation), they didn't charge any more than the original estimate. Because of how great they all were to work with, I'm signing up for their annual maintenance program. I won't use anybody else but Langley Roofing in the future.
