Johnson Audiology Chattanooga

There are not enough superlatives to express my opinion of Johnson Audiology. They came highly recommended; so I was expecting the best. I was not disappointed. In every respect, they were professional to an amazing degree. They made me feel they genuinely cared. I am impressed beyond measure. If I am ever given reason to offer a less positive review, I will do so. I praise Johnson Audiology because I genuinely believe they deserve every accolade. However, I have a responsibility to others who may choose to use their services based on my recommendation.

Johnson Audiology set me up with an advanced cross system to solve my deafness in one ear. I was delighted with every aspect of my purchase and the remarkable job they did in "tuning" the system to optimize my results. However, I had a problem with one component and the response was so great I had to come back and write another review. It is the service after the sale that matters to me. After you have paid you see who you are really dealing with. I am happy to report that Johnson Audiology makes me as happy now as they did initially. These folks really know what they are doing, I could have saved a lot of money by gettign Costco hearing aids or some other shortcut. I know people who have done that and do not even use the things. But me, I wanted to be normal by haveing the best hearing I could possibly get. Johnson audioloy offered me options other audiologists have not even heard of. My hearign is normal using a discreet set of hitech devices. You get what you pay for and I am so happy that if I had it to do over I would not change a thing. Johnson audiology changed my entire life and I like them a lot.

I contacted a hearing aid company (widex) because I had heard they will give u free hearing aids for one month trial with no strings attached. Widex called Johnson audiology and I had an appointment within days!! It was a very laid back and professional test and fitting. The staff is very nice making sure you are comfortable by offering water, coffee and the best chocolates anywhere! :). They were very patient in finding the best fit for me. After making sure I was happy, with one of the two aids I tried, I purchased them last week! I am enjoying looking people in the eye and hearing them instead of watching their lips trying to figure it out. Thanks Johnson audiology!! Jan Rusk

Not so well. Hearing aid test was administered and explained. That was complete satisfactory. We paid a reasonable price for that test and consultation. But when we wanted to upgrade our hearing aid selection, we were quoted a higher price level for the upgrade. The owner called to explain that we might have misunderstood the initial quote, but we decided to go elsewhere for our hearing aid needs. We felt put off by the experience.

My experience was wonderful! My hearing aids are excellent! Dr. Whitney Smith was very patient and professional. She worked to make my hearing aids tailored to my needs, and always had a welcoming smile during my follow-up visits. I would recommend her to anyone with hearing loss.

Johnson Audiology has been such a pleasure to partner with for our event. Their generous donation allowed us to offer a one of a kind experience to our clients. It was great. Dr. Guthrie figured out what was wrong with me and helped me choose the perfect hearing aids for my needs. Then, over the next couple of weeks, she helped tweak the fit and the settings until they were perfect. We're about two months into the school year and the difference is amazing. It's much easier for me to interact with my students and, at home, my wife and young son don't get nearly as frustrated with me (I still irritate them but now I know when they're irritated and I usually know why).

I was very pleased with Johnson Audiology. The staff is very professional, friendly, and caring. They really look out for what is best for you. I would recommend them to anyone.

My father had hearing loss for years. After some convicing, he decided to look into hearing aids. We looked at a few places but once we found Johnson Audiology, we never looked back. Their staff is so friendly and their doctors are very knowedgeable. They tested my fathers hearing thoroughly and fit him with the perfect hearing aids, not just any generic pair. He said it was one of the best decisions he's ever made and his hearing is beyond what he thought it could be. Thank you Johnson Audiology!

I went in to Johnson Audiology to have my hearing tested.  I had a lot of friends who have gone here to get their hearing aids and they all have said such good things about the staff and about their experience with hearing aids but I have put off going for a hearing test for a while because I was embarrassed about having  hearing loss and having to possibly wear a hearing aid.  Dr Smith did my test and explained it to me afterward.  She explained it in a way that was easy to understand and talked to me about having a hearing loss and hearing aid options.  I never knew there were so many options.  I am getting hearing aids that you can't even see!  I am so glad I decided to go to Johnson Audiology.

I cannot say enough about the people of Johnson Audiology! As a company, they truly understand the importance of customer service. Their office is beautiful and very welcoming and the staff always greets you with a smile. It is a very patient-friendly and comfortable setting, which you don't find too often in a medical practice. I have had several family members go to Johnson Audiology for hearing issues and they have raved about the professionalism of the staff and effectiveness of their services and products. To top it off, the owners Derek and Megan Johnson are great people. We have been involved in several charity events with Johnson Audiology and they are always first in line to support their community and great causes! The last event my company hosted, Rock for a Reason, Johnson Audiology brought their whole family and company out to support the cause. I will continue to recommend Johnson Audiology to others because they have treated my family members so well upon their visits and truly care about their patients.

From our first visit there the staff always does whatever they can to help us. We work crazy schedules and it was never an issue. Honestly we had no idea what we were really looking for as far as type of hearing device needed. The Dr's tried several types of hearing aids based on his lifestyle and level of comfort before we decided on his. They seen every detail through from fittings to insurance. He can go by there if he has an issue and it is always resolved in a quick and no stress manor. From the front office to the Dr's it is always a great experience for us. I would and do recommend Johnson Audiology to anyone who needs hearing services.

I had known for at least a year that my hearing was gradually getting worse, especially in crowded rooms (restaurants) or with some TV programs.  Also, when a friend hands you an ad for hearing aids, you know it's time!   For convenience, I wanted to select a  specialist in my area of town and visited several but for various reasons couldn't make a decision.  Johnson Audiology's TV and newspaper ads impressed me because the team all have advanced audiology degrees.  When I walked in the door, I knew immediately that it was the place for me.  The doctor was professional, pleasant, easy to talk to and took time to answer my questions.   She confirmed what I already knew and showed me various types of aids to consider.... and she was not at all pushy like some of the others (this sale ends shortly, etc.).  Their waiting room is very pleasant with plenty of magazines but I don't get time to appreciate it because they are very prompt with appointments.  Their staff is exceptional -- always pleasant and very helpful on the phone.  I am so glad I kept searching for the right place because I found Johnson Audiology to be perfect for me.

The team at Johnsons are very courteous and very prompt. I have had 4 appointments so far and have been taken in early each time. They have faxed paperwork requested by my employer and have offered food and drinks at every visit.

I cannot say enough about Johnson Audiology. They have helped me  adjust to my  hearing aids in every way possible.



When I was first deciding  what type for hearing aid to purchase, Dr Johnson let me trial numerous types of hearing aids.



I decided to go with the Lyric hear aids.   I will not lie, it takes some time to get used to them. Not the hearing with the device,



but the care, putting ear plugs in when you shower and sleeping where you can support your ear a tad. 



Lyric hearing aids, are a new type that fit completely  inside your ear. 



But Johnson Audiology was there for me 24 hours a day  if needed , for an exchange of my hearing aids. 



Dr Johnson called me on the weekend, offered to meet me after hours at the office,and stayed after normal business hours.

Dr. Johnson was amazing.  She did multiple tests and took the time to meet with us to discuss his results and options.  I was so worried that my husband would get the hearing aids and put them in a drawer but Dr. Johnson kept in contact with him to make sure that the hearing aids he purchased were the correct ones for him.  He actually changed brands a couple of times before he found "the one".  I honestly believe if Dr. Johnson did not do all of the follow up, he would still be living a life in silence.

The service has been great this is my second pair of hearing aids that I have bought from them. I have been very pleased with their service. I bought my first set of aids from them back around 2 years ago. The reason for buying the second set is for back up if I have one that need to be serviced I have one to use until I get one back.

They made adjustments to the volume.  Changed ear buds.  The personnel are all very professional, efficient, courteous and friendly.  They have become friends as much as service providers.  I would highly recommend,  Tom Friday.
