As a professional Home Inspector since September 1994, I look forward to working with you on the purchase of your home and performing a thorough home inspection for you.. I WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT I SEE! Why is a Home Inspection so Important? With over 20 years experience as a professional Home Inspector many clients ask if I have seen it all. You might think so, but the FACT is almost every week and no less than once a month I discover that someone has invented a New Way to do it WRONG! Most needed corrections discovered during a Home Inspection are to prolong the life of the building, many are for general safety and in some cases the corrections are needed to prevent the loss of the structure or for life safety. With advancing technology and engineered building products installation instructions have become quite complicated and are ever changing. I call it job security because the number of weekend warriors and contractors that do not bother to stay current with their trade far exceed the number of homes that I can inspect each year. If more people would read the provided directions I very well could be out of a career, but not to worry, that will not happen any time soon. As a seasoned Home Inspector I do occasionally see great workmanship. I truly appreciate the hard work and impressive results that our area craftsmen take the time to perform. Roger was very thorough and informative. He didn't mind me attending the entire inspection and asking lots of questions. My realtor also confirmed that he is the toughest, most thorough inspector she knows. Very satisfied and impressed, recommend highly.

We have an older home (45+) years and my wife wanted to make sure that everything is safe and secure. We got only the electrical side inspected. We may do the whole home inspected later. We wanted to start with electrical side first. Roger Williamson is a professional home inspector. He did look carefully in all the area & provided a detailed report. He did mention that some issues need to be take care of immediately & that other issues can wait. The report is very thorough and we are using this report to discuss with electrical contractor for remediation. A highly recommend Williamson for an unbiased home inspection. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and easy to work with. He came in on scheduled time and the report was emailed very quickly. We will use him again if we decide to do a full home inspection.

It went very well! He found a lot of things we would not have noticed and explained what would be normal wear-and-tear versus major concerns. $360 for home inspection, additional $125 for the pool, and coming back to look over repairs was $125. Very affordable and worthwhile.

They are A plus. He was extremely knowledgeable. Took lots of pictures had an instantaneous report for us and I probably can't say enough good stuff about him and right now we are currently having work done by virtue of everything that he pointed out that was faulty. I would definitely use them in the future.

I stayed with him during most of the 4 hour home inspection. I didn't see a lot of physical inspection, but I did see him sit at his laptop a lot of the time. I actually had to point out to him that the toilet in the half bath was running. After receiving the report, the homeowner of the house I was buying told me that Roger did the inspection for him when he bought the house. Roger never mentioned that, and I feel it could be a conflict of interest. I brought it up to Roger and he said he didn't remember. Wishing 2 weeks of moving into my new home, I had contractors find that the siding on the front of the house was not properly installed, which was not in Roger's report. The company installing my home security system also found a 110 outlet that had exposed wires. This was not on the report either. I brought all of this to his attention, and all I received was excuses.

"The siding condition was listed in her home inspection report in great detail. Six paragraphs discussed the installation and condition for the cement fiber siding alone. Five digital photos were included in the report for the cement fiber siding issues. Additionally, client was advised to properly replace or repair the exterior siding and trim as needed. The occasional running toilet was listed in her home inspection report. The alarm system was not part of her home inspection. The wiring inside the alarm control panel was not observed as part of her home inspection. This issue was minor and discovered by the technician she hired to inspect her alarm system. Client contacted me by email regarding her concerns. I responded to her by email the next business day and corresponded multiple times with her by email. Client's report was 37 pages long. I was at the home for just over four hours. The completed, typed report with digital photos was emailed to her the same day the inspection was performed. I have been a professional home inspector for over 22 years. It is not uncommon that I have previously inspected a home. There is no conflict of interest as the inspections were performed at different times, in this case, more than five years apart. I take great pride in being thorough and performing the job I am contracted to do. A home inspection is a brief overview in time of the condition of a home. It is not designed to catch every minor defect or any concealed defect. Please take a moment to read all of my reviews."

Kevin Terry actually did my inspection and he stayed for a very long time and was very detailed in his inspection. It doesn't look like he's with this company anymore. I was presented with a 1/4" binder with the completed report in it. I still recommend them to all my friends who are buying houses. I still reference the notes even though the inspection was almost 10 years ago. In fact, I have the binder sitting out because I was showing the electrical contractor some items that I'd like to have them fix that were pointed out in the inspection.

Roger Williamson did a very professional job on the newly constructed home. He dedicated a lot of time and made a very thorough inspection taken into consideration the whole home form top to bottom.
Highly recommendable, very knowledgeable and friendly service. Will use definitely again if we should be ever in need again for an inspector

Roger came and inspected our brand new home, and found some items that needed to be repaired (one major item, which saved us thousands before closing). Not only that, but Roger was also valuable in providing suggestions as to the methods that should be used in some of the repairs. He has a wealth of knowledge. He was also very helpful when we had to hire contractors to complete some of this work. Would highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience with Roger! I totally recommend him to anyone who is purchasing a new or existing home. Roger is very thorough and informative as he reviews and inspects all aspects of the house. I am a very particular person and he exceeded my expectation to make me feel comfortable that I knew everything about the house that I was buying. He walked me through things in detail and allowed me to ask millions of questions. He is so patient, punctual and professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and he won't lie to you if he doesn't know something. He would look it right up for you to get you the answer. He was very accommodating to have us follow him around during the whole inspection and walk us through things as he discovered them.

Roger was professional and very capable of handling the unexpected (sellers choosing to be present at the inspection). He was extremely thorough and caught many things that I wound up asking the seller to repair prior to purchase. As I was present during the inspection (as a first-time home buyer, I highly recommend being present), Roger took the time to provide additional details and things to look for in the future if the purchase did not occur. His focus was on me as his customer and he did a great job giving me the information I needed to make a decision. I would certainly hire him again.

Roger was prompt, efficient and new his stuff. His inspection was so thorough that the previous homeowner said his report had him afraid to live in his own home... We were able to utilize the detailed and thorough report he provided to negotiate with the previous homeowners to get most of the repairs completed as a contingency to the sale of the home. Bottom line, if you are considering a new home purchase in the Chattanooga area, I highly recommend Roger at HomePro Inspections.

Roger was wonderful! He spent hours at our home and went through everything possible! He gave us a very detailed report and print out of everything that needed to be fixed. I would highly recommend using him. He went above and beyond our expectations. I have never seen a home inspector spend so much time going through every detail. I would strongly suggested using him for an inspection.

Found HomePro Inspection on Angie's list back in July of 2013 and I am glad I did! This was the second time I used HomePro as my inspection service. Roger's report on our first property brought up some red flags that prompted us to call in a second opinion from a foundation specialist and they confirmed Roger's findings saving us from a $30000.00 nightmare repair bill had we purchased that property. Roger Williamson did such a professional and thorough job the first time (July 2013) that I did not hesitate to call him for a second inspection at a different property eight months later. I was not able to be at the second inspection but Roger's reports are very concise and easy to follow so I had no problem not being able to be at the inspection. We purchased the property after re-negotiating the price of the property with the seller post inspection. I would recommend HomePro Inspection to anyone thinking of buying a property or getting ready to sell one.

Roger was as before a complete professional. He had previously done an inspection for us. With what he found we were able to make an informed decision which in the long run was going to save us 10's of thousands of dollars. With little notice he was able to get us in and was flexible with the prospective seller's schedule. Once again he was very thorough. We have a nice list of issues, albeit small ones that give us insight into the situation we re getting into. I would recommend Roger and HomePro Inspections to anyone, and would use him again in a minute. He even went above and beyond by giving a slight refund due to the square footage being a little less than advertised. He could have left it where it was and not refunded my money but his honesty and integrity speak volumes about him and his work.
