Understanding principals of air handling I feared needing a complete new duct system. Wendell recommended replacing the main truck (larger), enlarge the return and add one branch. Installed 3 ton Bryant 5 speed heat pump with 4.5" deep return filter so I can use high efficiency particulate filters without affecting pressure drop. Works like a champ, comfort level is the best ever. Air speeds are right, pressure differentials are correct just as I desired. By having this new unit installed and adding attic insulation my power usage has dropped 32% minimum, I suspect more. Air filter is very quiet, heat pump is very quiet in fact it is hard to know when the unit is running.

I allowed General Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. to install a new air unit while no one was home with no dispute from them. After they were done I noticed my handgun missing and found out the installer had been arrested two years before for AGGRAVATED BURGLARY (OCCUPIED HABITATION), THEFT OF PROPERTY (OVER $500) THEFT OF PROPERTY (UNDER $500). I asked the owner about it and he blew it off as a misunderstanding. Air works but you may want to be at home when they install it.

Did not correct issue with duct work completely. Sent someone back out and was to return. Showed a month later unannounced to measure for unit cover and have not heard from company yet.

The are excellent and honest, they tell you what is best for you and give you best price for what you need. They give great service.

Everybody has always been friendly, and they got my job done. If we had any complaints, they would arrive fast to fix whatever it was. They are the best company I could find. There are probably many air conditioning services around Chattanooga, but this one is by far the best. I would use them again in the future if I need to.

Always, when I've had issues with my older system, they accurately diagnose and fix problem within one afternoon.

They have put in several units for me. I am satisfied with them and they do a good job. I spent around $110 on that work. They are punctual and come when they say they will come. They do not make me wait. He is a good, solid person. They are competitive with everybody else. They all charge around the same. They are very professional.

I spent around $300 on that service. I had no problems with them.

They are reliable, and their response is excellent and I have used them for years.
