The employees at East Brainerd Animal Hospital are the most loving and caring people I have ever met and do everything in their power to keep your pet healthy and happy. Dr. Carter is the absolute best vet around and the staff (most whom have been there many, many years) have always been so sweet & kind to both us and our pets. One of our dogs has had Addison's disease for several years and has to have treatments every 4-weeks. They always great our dog as soon as she walks in the door and many of them sit down on the floor with her, talk to her & give her a good belly rub. Our dog is as happy to see them as they are to see her and she is never nervous about going there. They are very knowledgeable in every illness our pets have ever hand. I can't recommend them enough.

I've been going to them for 2 years now. The doctors are great and the staff is wonderful. I'm really satisfied with them. I have actually decided to change to them because someone had to put down her dog and they talked about how wonderful they were with them. I actually was going somewhere else and they were good, but I had to put down an older cat there and they didn't have it there. They were just so good and they sent a sympathy card, and I just thought that was really nice because they weren't an actual patient. I thought I would give them a try and I've been really pleased with them. The first time I used them I found a stray at work and I called at 4. They close at 5:30. They said I would just call back but I said I want to bring her in and want her to be seen and they were able to see her that day. It was a good thing because she had worms and fleas, and I needed an oscillator for my other cat. They stayed and were running to make time for us, that was the time they were going away for the day so I really appreciated that.

Examination of my cat was very brief and lasted maybe a minute. They took my cat into the back to give her shots instead of keeping her in the exam room with me. Information provided by this vet turned out to not be true, I had a difficult time getting information and test results. I was told they would call me back and twice did not do this until I called them back a day after they were supposed to have called. Prices were equivalent to other practices. Maybe they do better with dogs but I certainly will never take any of my pets there again. I suggest that if your pet is very important to you that you look elsewhere for a vet. I actually joined Angies List to find a good vet and am disappointed not only in this vet but in Angie's List as it proved to not be very useful in finding a good vet.

Dr. Neal Ligon is by far the nicest vet I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Both he and his staff are friendly, kind, and professional. This center has been treating my family's pets for a long time. I have tried other practices, and I came back! They never try to push medication or unnecessary services. They also don't unnecessarily muzzle your pet.
Also, if Dr. Ligon weren't available, Dr. Carter and Dr. Revell are just as great!

They are wonderful people. They have taken care of all my dogs in the past.

The doctor and his assistant were professional and gentle with my pet. However, I was told I would be contacted later in the afternoon for results of a blood test. At approximately 4:00 I telephoned for information and was told I would be contacted later on in the day. I telephoned two more times since I knew time for closing was approaching. I verified my phone number and was told I would be contacted before closing. They never called. I consider this highly unprofessional and inexcusable. As a pet owner with a sick pet I expect better and recommend others to be aware that staff did not follow through on their word. It would have been ethical to at least provide and update before they went home. East Brainerd Animal Hospital has failed me and my sick pet. FFF for failure to follow through as promised multiple times.

Each time I have visited my anxiety has been high. Each time they treat my pet I am reassured and happy with the results

We were warmly welcomed and the vet checked our cat out thoroughly and made recommendations for helping lose weight as to the food and amounts. He gave him the first dose of meds for an ear infection. Both the tech and the vet treated our cat as if it were their own.

I have been using them for 27 years. I have two cats and two dogs so I see them often. I get a senior discount.

They are very caring and do a good job with my dog. The staff is friendly and they have a great business. I will use them in the future and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

They have four beds in there and if I call, they get me in immediately, if something is wrong.

They have a great bedside manner and they spend a lot of time with you. They answer all of your questions and overall they are very friendly, all the way from the doctor to the front desk. I have been going there for nine years. I keep going back because the friendliness and the time that the doctor spends with you.
