They did an excellent job and I have hired them to do a thorough cleaning every month.

They arrived punctually and did a thorough and entirely professional job cleaning the entirety of my parents' house. The initial cleaning took far less than 6 hours (3, in fact), so they returned twice -- each visit was about 1 month later than the previous visit -- to exhaust the purchased 6 hours. I was so pleased with their rates and the quality of their work that I have retained them to do a monthly cleaning of my parents' house.

We used them for 2 years. Things were ok at first but they were unable to keep a stable crew. When they sent over a new employee the job quality would be inconsistent.  When this happened the crew leader would blame the new person. Also, the time they arrived would vary from visit to visit. As time went on the quality of their work eroded. We eventually decided to stop using them and go in another direction. I would not recommend them.
Response from Cleaning Concepts
"Unfortunately we did a have a couple of personnel changes in the last few months but we always sent one person who had always been to their house. Also with the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays our times did vary but we did try to meet their time guidelines. We have given more training to our employees and hope have resolved these issues."

It was good at first. But they were unable to hire and keep employees. The girl that cleaned my house the whole two years did a great job (I had 2 girls each week) But the owner would decide to change out one of them with a newbie. Which would be okay if the newbie knew what they were doing and did a good job. She also would expect them to be out of my house in the same amount of time. when they were not. She would approach me about increasing the amount of money I paid for the service. I would say I'm not paying anymore because you can't hire employees that can do the job. I would've had no problem with my rates going up if I had the two girls that work the best in my house and did the job that was expected. I was paying $42 an hour for cleaning already.
Response from Cleaning Concepts
"As the client said, we cleaned her house for two years. We did have several different people cleaning her house although one was consistent for the two years. We did have some turnover but if we feel the employee isn't meeting our quality standards after training it sometimes becomes necessary to change them. We also had some instances where the client wasn't happy with the employee so we changed them out. I (the owner) even started cleaning her myself and moved her to another day in hopes of making the situation better. When that day and time didn't work for her we moved her day and time again for her. While we appreciated her business for the two years and felt until now that we have had a reasonably good business agreement, we felt at that point there would be no positive solution that would benefit all those involved. It was mutually agreed to end the service agreement."

I have used Cleaning Concepts for the past 10 months. They are good, not great. Very reliable, honest, and the same 2 ladies come every time. I have met 3 or 4 of them and that is it. I do not want different people each week.

They are pleasant for the approximate 2 hours they give me. It is a good job. 2 people, for 2 hours is a total of 4 hours. But, I would need additional hours for any specialized cleaning. No ovens, no refrigerator and no additional rooms.

I think this is pretty standard.

To compare them to the "other" well-known cleaning service" these ladies are a step above. They do not "just" clean around something or skip. They are thorough.

They do a very good job of getting everything clean. They dust, clean the kitchen, mop the floors and do a general all-over like I asked them to do. They even clean the storm door when they leave. They provide the vacuums and I provide the cleaning supplies. If I am low on something, they tell me for the next time. I am very pleased with their work.

I called for a quote and made an appointment to meet with the owner. She arrived on time, was friendly but businesslike. Her estimate for the initial cleaning was 2 cleaners for about $150 - $180 then $85 every two weeks. I called her back to set up the cleanings. It was the second day before I got a call back. When e cleaners arrived, they were 30 minutes early and there were 3 people. They said they were training one of them. They went right to work and did a thorough job getting blinds, over door frames, door panels, ceiling fans and light fixtures. They changed bed linen, vacuumed, mopped and dusted. One person spent most of her time in one bathroom while he other two did the rest of the house. They seemed knowledgeable and I was pleased with the results. I am required to provide cleaning supplies and equipment which adds to the cost but allows me to choose what they use. They provided a mop bucket and vacuum, although I prefer they use my hypo allergenic vacuum. However I was charged for the trainee same as the experienced team. And the charge was a bit higher than the estimate. It has been a week since they were here and no word from anyone as to how it went, when their next visit will be, etc. I was given a list of references. I called several and got the expected good reports. I am definitely going to use them for my very other week cleanings. Overall, very happy with initial work. Management communication with me could be better.

The first clean went ok even though they had to come back after neglecting to dust many shelves and the top of the refrigerator. The first clean was nearly 250 for a 900 sqft apt. And for that price, you are still required to provide their chosen cleaning supplies, including mops and towels. They also use your paper towels for cleaning. I continued to try them but eventually decided that 80 dollar biweekly cleans and/or 130 dollar monthly cleans were just too expensive for what I was getting. Friends with large 3 bedroom homes were paying the same. Price and quality just doesn't match up.

Cleaning Concepts provided housekeeping services for me for approximately 5 years.  Here are the things I liked best, in the order of my own priorities:
1.  They were COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY
I never, never had to worry about whether I was home or not when the ladies were there.  They ALWAYS followed my instructions regarding how to leave the house...locked or unlocked, alarm set or not...etc.

2.  They ALWAYS did an excellent job.
As if they used a checklist every time...but they didn't.  Excellence was just their way.

3.  The same two ladies came every week.  This was important to me in order to get to know the people working in my home, and feeling confident that they knew where to put things.  I never had to deal with, "Now I wonder where she put that...??"

4.  When the schedule needed to be changed, Phylis was always great about working with me and COMMUNICATING with me.  There were never any surprises as to when the ladies would come (or not!)
Things I didn't like...well, nothing comes to mind!  The only reason I don't use them any more is that I moved from the area.

Excellent work every time! When I call to ask for add-ons, they always get done and the added cost is fair. It's so nice to come home to a clean house!

They did a wonderful job and I was pleased with them. They really paid attention to detail, especially from cleaning to do some deep cleaning that had not been done previously after the construction. They were very thorough, especially in cleaning the floors. I have wood floors throughout and it was very good. I think they really do pay attention to the details. I think that for the service I received the price was fair. They might be just a little more expensive than others but it is certainly a more custom service than just a chain. It took her a little time but she was busy. If you can work with them they will definitely be worth it. She was running a little late and she did call me and let me know.
