We placed our window and door order with Champion Windows on March 21, 2024, and the final installation wasn’t completed until May 13, 2025—almost 14 months later. What should have been a straightforward project turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience filled with poor communication, broken promises, and costly inconvenience. The windows had to be reordered three separate times due to poor craftsmanship, incorrect sizing, and visible scratches—clear signs of serious quality control issues. We also ordered two doors. One had to be replaced entirely because of a scratch on the inside of the glass, and during one installation visit, glass panels were broken inside our home, creating a dangerous safety hazard with children present. To make matters worse, we had to take time off work on five separate occasions to accommodate installation appointments—all of which were the result of Champion’s repeated mistakes. This added a significant and ongoing inconvenience to an already stressful process. The Regional Operations Manager visited our home, acknowledged the numerous issues, and made verbal assurances that were ultimately never followed through on. Despite escalating concerns to upper management, no one took responsibility, and customer service was virtually non-existent throughout the entire ordeal. We paid over $42,000 for this project, and at no point where we offered any refund, discount, or compensation for the unacceptable delays and errors. The only offer we were given was that of a gift card to a local restaurant. To date, this gift card has not been received. In summary, our experience with Champion Windows was deeply disappointing. The lack of accountability, poor craftsmanship, and disregard for the customer’s time were simply inexcusable. We would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

This has been the worst experience with any contractor I have ever had in my 70 years, It's been over 13 months and the job still has not been completed because Champion can not make a curved window. The gaps between Champion windows and the window frames in the windows that have been installed were so large the installers had to use expanding spray foam to fill them. It's almost impossible to reach anyone at Champion of Chattanooga. They will call back when I leave messages. Very poorly run organization and zero PR. I wouldn't wish this company on my worse enemy, Worst decision I ever make on hiring a contractor company.

They were very professional and knowledgeable about the products and very courteous.

It went pretty good but it wasn't a good job. They did not trim the windows. It's pretty bad job for not doing a trim on the windows.

Fabulous! Every part of the process was smooth, the staff friendly and communication was stellar. I never wondered where our order was in the process. I definitely recommend and will use their services again.

The project went very well.

Salesman very informative and pleasant. Presentation way too long and he kept changing the estimate and asking what I was willing to pay. Great windows but too expensive.

The agent was efficient, convincing but the company declined to respect the price he offered. The finished project was completed to our utmost satisfaction, with despatch, efficiency and good-natured professionals who cleaned up before leaving.

It was fine. They did a good job. The reason why I rated them B for some category was that they came back in our home for 3 days for me to sign some papers.

It went alright considering the crew that installed the windows was new to Champion and it took extra time. The end product was very good.

They subcontract all their jobs. Window installers were fine. Had gutters installed and it was horrible. They sagged in middle, water poured over and bent them on first day. Took 2 months of calling, even calling corporate office to get any service. All they did was add more downspouts. Never worked right and had to have another company come to repair. Pitiful customer service and liars.

Now that I am aware of how our contact/supervisor was fired and left the Chattanooga branch in a mess....I will give new management a pass. Regional office in Atlanta and corporate office in Ohio.....don't waste your time calling and expect an answer, or the answer they gave me was usually lies! Now that Robert , lead installer, was promoted to running Chattanooga warehouse.....hopefully the next customer will have less stress and delays.

They did excellent work. The replaced all of my windows correctly, promptly, on-time.  They should make sure they have all of the windows to be installed and improve customer service on the weekends.

They're fantastic. It was so professional. It was unbelievable. I have sold the boat since, and that was a major selling point. I had them also install some glass windows in my condo on lookout mountain. They are very professional. I like them. The top three is professionalism, their quality, and service. I still get letters from them. They are just a professional team. They are a small company, they aren't big. Its as good as it gets. I was looking to have them price out doors. I'm on an board on an local HOA. We want to replace doors, and they gave me an quote for doors. They are just a little too high. Their doors are a good quality, and the hinges are a good quality. They didn't get that contract, but they did come up here and did the do diligence's.

From the initial meeting with the sales rep. to the actual installation of the windows, everyone was very friendly & knowledgeable. We felt that the product was fairly priced and that we got an excellent product. Highly recommend.

The gutters are great. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful.

We tried to replace this Pella window through Pella which was a disaster. After being let down time and time again we called Champion. They had installed replacement Windows for us in another house. We were very satisfied, so we called them again. Within a short period of time , it was fixed. Problem over.

Deck structurally unsound as verified by Lowe's specialist. Cement was not poured into post holes. Materials arrived for patio room and looked cheap and flimsy for price charged. Sales Dept refused to give itemized price breakdown. I chose them because they were the most advertised and had BBB approval. I did not know that all a company has to do to get their stamp of approval is pay a fee. I learned an expensive lesson:. The biggest company is not always the best. Work was halted. We went to court and while I won at the local level they appealed to the highest level and ultimately won six years later due to "proving" they were independent and autonomous from the parent Champion company in Ohio. Not proving they did nothing wrong but just proving they did not have to abide by the Ohio standards and could therefore dupe and extort the customer however they wished. The parent company may be fine but Champion of Chattanooga is to be avoided at all cost. Maybe you'll have a good experience but why risk it? If you do, proceed with caution.

The people I dealt with at the Chattanooga office were all very positive. The installers were polite, helpful and professional. Never any debris and when the job was complete the area was completely cleared. I suggest reading the warranty closely. If you plan to stay in your home for a decent period of time you should be in good shape. If, however, you plan to sell in the near future as I do, your warranty applies to the new owners for only one year from the date of sale and you must notify Champion within the first month of sale for that coverage to take effect. There is also a credit plan offered with a balloon note format. But, the clock starts the day you sign. The salesman said that was to cover materials ordered which didn't happen right away. But no interest as long as full payment is made on or before the due date. Lowe's has a similar plan. I would hire again based on the quality of work but I would definitely take my time to read more closely.

They were on time and very professional. The Sales Rep indicated that they would not need access to the inside the house but they do. Be prepared for them to be in and out through most of the process. The installers were very professional and courteous and they did a great job of cleaning up after they finished. The windows are just installed so we can't rate their efficiency but we are hopeful!

The job was taken care of efficiently and on time. We were oven able to get unusual sizes for these windows though it look longer for them to arrive.

They were unavoidably delayed - I was informed & it was okay by me. They did a good job - Very professional. Informative about product and very courteous.

The cost was very expensive, but you get what you pay for.
