Mr,. Powell’s Company built a 6 foot extension to our screened-in porch. He replaced the existing plastic corrugated roofing to cover the existing structure and his addition. It has leaked ever since. That was about 4 years ago. He did try to repair the leaks, many times to no avail. He finally sent a roofing contractor to look at it, he also tried to repair the leaks but could not. Daniel, the roofing contractor told me the roofing was installed incorrectly. When I told Mr. Powell that Daniel said this, he implied I was not being truthful, I was. He has refused to replace it. So we have to pay for a new roof after giving him numerous opportunities to fix it. I think I have been more than patient. Living with a leaking roof for 4 years. I would not and have not recommended him

"Good morning, [Member Name Removed] . Like you state, you would not hire me again. However, you did 1 year later for a $54000 Carport project, because you loved my work. I have repeatedly state that I would replace a panel if you liked. However, it is difficult to work with POLYCARBONATE material in winter because it is brittle. Personally I Would rather replace a few panels around 1-3 soon if it gets around 65 degrees. Facts: I have repeatedly (5X) sent my guys to repair. One seal screw had a washer on backwards. Before we found this, we triple flashed and counter flashed the house connection. This turned out to not be the problem $350 attempt by the roofer. The roofer I sent up specifically supposed to fix it. (4th and 5th round). ONLY, If I come up and it has been hit by treefall, there will be a $250 service call fee, and cost of materials and labor to fix the affected area. We fixed the problem and you went out of town and a major storm came through, which you told me I was wrong, later to be proven right by showing you the National weather service record. I suspect dead tree fall small branch items are affecting the roof. I will fix it and test it this one last time (X6) and will require a sign off and removal of any 4 star or lower rating. Casey orders materials and has delivered to site. Once this hardworking Team starts construction it moves very quickly. Casey even repoured a concrete pad that was badly damaged. First of all, we love our new screened in porch! Getting the initial permit was a pain, but as much as it was a pain and cost extra to get the permit, I would do it again. Once we got that, it was very fast and efficient - finished in about 2 weeks - some delays due to rain. The foreman of the project was very good and understanding when we realized we needed to make a modification and it was no big deal for him. I loved the fact that Casey gave us a very detailed plan and contract (the best one we saw), and was very attentive and thorough to make sure it was structurally sound and he didn't cut corners with materials. That was reassuring. At the end, I noticed a few things (some cosmetic and some not) that needed some additional work, and those things were dealt with and finished much better after bringing them to Casey's attention. They cleaned up their work site much better than most and were respectful of our time and property. I had no problem trusting them when I had to leave and do other things. We have enjoyed many Spring nights out there and look forward to years of relaxation on it. It is so nice! Love the fan too!!

When Casey came to make the appraisal, he also came with experience to explain to me exactly what I needed. I built the previous deck by myself and it was absolutely in need of demolition, Casey reviewed the mess and although he could not give me quote right then, He indicated he would call with same within 2 days. Guess what, HE DID and the quote was accepted. He stated when his crew would start and they did, TN weather not cooperating. Demolition went fine with superb cleanup. The build went as planned including some additions I added. The finished project was terrific and was even determined to be so by my two Great Grandsons. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Casey on any future projects that may be planned,

Anyone who has ever lived with an engineer knows that, as a group, they are not easily impressed: Pick, pick pick.... They just can’t help themselves. But this was not the case when my husband, the you-know-who, hired Casey Powell to design and build our deck. Even from the start, Casey’s knowledge and experience set him apart from the other candidates for the job; more importantly, he was able to execute the plan with excellence that even an engineer could love. To be honest, I didn’t even want a new deck, but the finished product is so handsome, and it has enhanced our property more than I could have imagined.everyone who has come to our home in the past year has raved. Homeowners take note: This man actually came when he said he would, and his guys worked one whole day in the rain when lesser men would have been at home, playing X Box. But wait, there’s more! The crew picked up after themselves and left our property party perfect when they finished. Money more than well spent!

The deck crew started on the tear down of the old deck and proceeded with building of the new deck in about 5 days. The work performed was very prompt and professional. The pressure washing and painting followed about one week later and was performed without a glitch. This work was done in preparation of putting the house up for sell. I would recommend Casey to a friend!

The location was at our farm house which sets more than 400 feet off the road. Casey Powell correctly foresaw the difficulties in getting a tractor-trailer truck carrying the building materials up our very steep driveway. His supplier used a fork lift truck to bring the building materials up the driveway. The delivery of materials occurred as scheduled. Demolition of the old deck was accomplished without damaging the stucco finish on the walls of the house. As the house is more than 50 years old, and there are places where the stucco finish is weak, this type of meticulous attention to detail was much appreciated. The new deck was framed, footers dug and concrete poured for the support posts, the flooring boards laid, and the deck and stair rails and completed. Pressure washing of the ramp revealed that only a relatively few boards needed to be replaced. The carpenters did all their work between September 4 and 13, 2018. Rain stopped the work at least once. The new deck, stair rails, and the ramp were stained and sealed by September 20, 2018. The new deck seems very sturdy and we are looking forward to hosting star-gazing parties on it.
