I would not recommend this company based on my experience (my correspondence listed the address as Ooltewah, TN)

This is a greatI company to deal with. They came out in the rain to give us an estimate because they knew we were in a rush to get started. They gave us an honest no hassle estimate. Ruth told me that our home wasn't ideal for a premium shingle that another provider was pushing. They showed up about 7 in the morning and were done by about 1:30. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell we'd had such a major job done. We have a great looking new roof that we got at good price, and we dealt with terrific people in the process.

look good done on time just a small leak were they put one of the vents have had to come back twice to fix non there is a lot white caulk on black roof .have not been in attic yet to check for damage .to their credit they did come out when catted

I was very pleased with their service and I would definitely use them again.

I noticed that I had a water stain on my livingroom ceiling during the last strong storms that came through the area.  I joined angie's list and looked up roofing companies, C&R Roofing was the first to pop up.  I called around to several of the companies on the list.  C&R were the only ones who I actually spoke with, I had left several messages/voicemails at other numbers.  C&R came out and gave me an estimate.  Some of the other companies I had called finally came out and left me estimates.  Paul, from C&R, said that my roof was very old and had several places where water was actually leaking in.  Because of my work schedule, I called him back on Saturday and told him I had decided to choose his company, and was told they could work me in, in about two weeks.  I asked Paul what I could do to help minimize the water damage, more rain was forecasted on the way.  Paul came the next day, Sunday, got up on my roof and patched those holes.  Two days later, Ruth (also from C&R)  called me and asked if they could put my roof on the next day.  The crew got there when I had been told they would.  C&R did a great job, the roof looks so much better.  They cleaned up after themselves and did an extra walk around to make sure they didn't leave any nails to get into my tires.  They even cleaned the gutters.  I am very satisfied and would recommend C&R Roofing to anyone.

The crew was on time and reasonably priced. They spent all of their time on the roof; there was not anyone off the roof at any time. they took breaks two at a time.

The worker that was in charge told me he guarantees his work for a year and to call him if there were any problems. As soon as it rained, the gutter leaked where it had always leaked. I called C & R. Ruth explained that this is extra work that is done "on the side" for the worker to have extra money, and that they are primarily a roofing company, but she would have the worker call me. He called and said he would come out as soon as it quit raining for a few days so the gutter would be completely dry. He explained he would take the gutter apart and use a weatherproof product for this problem and put the gutter back in place. We agreed on a date for him to return, but he did not. He did not call to tell me he wasn't coming, and still has not shown up or called. Not only would I not use this worker again, I would not use C & R Roofing again either, because Ruth should have told me in the beginning that gutter work was considered "on the side" and not guaranteed and the worker or C & R were in no way obligated to make good on the gutter work.

I was calling for estimates a few weeks back and C&R promptly came out to do an estimate. The owners (who are a very sweet couple) came out and did a thorough inspection. They also sat down and told me the specific details of the process of replacing my roof and taking the old ones off. They were very honest and seemed like they cared about doing the job correctly. They were not pushy at all, either. When we reviewed the estimates we had accrued, we called them to accept theirs. They seemed to think they were higher in price, but what we found is that the others were higher and not great at giving us as many details as C&R did. The male owner said they had some other jobs before us and that they would call us a couple of days before they came out. That was the only drawback, is that they called the NIGHT before they came out. It was not a huge inconvenience, since I was going to be home the next day, anyway. The workers came out nice and early, got set up, and promptly began work. Since we had TWO old roofs to tear off and replace, it took them 3 days to complete the job. They are very particular about cleaning and take special care not to mess up the outside of your home. They even came on the back porch to sweep it off, even though there was barely dust on the floor. Very nice hardworking crew. The foreman was very courteous and willing to give information if I needed it and always asked me for permission if he needed to leave his truck overnight. Roofing is tough work, especially in the middle of summer in the South. This crew was clean, polite, professional, and hardworking. After the job was complete, the female owner came out to do an assessment and to show me the work. She explained how the roof would settle and told me other information. She also brought to my attention a manufacturer's dye-lot mishap (that I would not have noticed at all) and said they would be back soon to fix it. Her bringing that to my attention says a lot about how they run their company - very honest and particular about their work looking good and professional. They are perfectionists at what they do. We are first-time homeowners at this home and it's difficult to know who to turn to for projects. C&R were wonderful to us and we would definitely use them, again.

This was a complex job in that the roof is very steep with many intersecting roof lines and areas. It was a 5 day job and from the first day the crew was on time and all business. They were extremely careful of the property, cleaned up the area at the end of each work day, and were considerate of us in terms of making sure our cars were accessible, etc. The owners of the business checked with us several times during the job to see if we had any questions about the progress. We had some lower bids for this project, but I had heard positive reports about C&R. Once I went through their extremely thorough estimating process, I felt confident that they would do it right. That's the way it turned out. Every member of the crew appeared to know their job well, and the new roof is beautiful. This is a professional, competent team that I would recommend to anyone.
