I have never written a review in my life-good or bad. This isn't really a review, but more of a word to the wise. I'm only sharing my experience. You can do with it what you will. I had my 2004 c240 towed here with transmission problems (wasn't shifting). Like you, I did my research beforehand, and decided this was a reputable place, based on reviews I read online. I took a half day off work and paid wrecker $125 to tow my car there. They called me three days later and advised me that my tranny was beyond repair, and the only fix was to rebuild it at the cost of 5k-6k. They also advised that they don't install used parts so my only option with them was to rebuild. (Charged me $350 to tell me this btw) Considering the car isn't worth much more than that, I took another half day off and paid wrecker another tow bill to have my car taken to a different German auto shop within a mile of this place, that would install a used transmission for a fraction of that. Based on what Bavarian diagnosed I had the other shop pre-order a used transmission to have ready to replace bad one-which they did. They called me back the same day and advised me that the tranny wasn't bad at all, it only had bad conductor plate, which they replaced, did an oil change and tune up for 1k. Now In two days, my car is running and shifting as well as it ever did. They didn't charge me a penny for wrongly having them order and ship the used transmission to them(and back)that wasn't needed to start with. This other German auto shop will definitely get any automotive work I need done, from now on-foreign or domestic. A good, honest mechanic is extremely hard to find. I'm not saying don't use Bavarian, I'm only suggesting that if they quote you an expensive repair, take a trip, less than a mile down the road, for a second opinion, it very well may save you quite a chunk of money. It sure did me. I even offered to split the cost of their "mis-diagnosis" just to try to recover some of my lost time and wages and keep it fair for everyone. Guess what they said. Believe me it was worth every penny I paid just to find the other shop.

The vehicle is a BMW and they have BMW trained mechanics and service equipment. They do a great job. They use BMW parts.

All went well. They verivfied the services needed according to the manufactureres guidelines. They then went one step further. It was recommended the brake fluid be changed but the tested the water content and said it was so loe they did not recommend a brake flush at this time. We were told it would be a waste of money to do the flush now. Al other services were performed as recommended. They were extremely professional and courteous.

The work was performed correctly, quickly, without damage to my alloy wheel. The only problem I have with them is their labor rates. I was looking for an alternative to the ultra-high priced dealership. This place isn't it. They do fine work, but so does the dealership...same price. Why change?

This was the latest service we used from Bavarian Auto. We brought it in at 9 am, got a ride home and were notified around 1:30 that the car was ready. This is how all our service calls have proceeded since we became regular customers in 2010.
We started using Bavarian for regular service of our 2008 Passat wagon in Oct. 11, 2010 when we switched from getting service and repairs from the local VW dealership. We believe that their prices are more competitive. We have never had a negative experience and we appreciate their personal service, the time they are willing to take to explain services rendered and to answer our questions. We will continue to use them for regular service and for any unexpected and non-preventative maintenance work on our car.

Bavarian Auto was referred by another repair shop. They had our vehicle for 3-4 months and could not get the job done. They replaced the abs module and that did not correct the problem. I brought it back and they then replaced the main computer module saying the abs module was not the problem. This still did not correct the problem so I took it back. They said your abs module is bad and I said you just replaced the abs module and they said when the computer module was replaced we reinstalled your old abs module. I asked to speak with the owner Mr. Vickery and he would not speak with me or return my calls. They did not give regular updates concerning the repair as I had to call them to find out the progress. I finally asked them to return the vehicle and they returned it missing parts - the cover that runs the length of the firewall was missing. Overall the worst experience I have ever had getting a car diagnosed and repair attempt.

Very dis-satisfied... The provider said they'd have not problem fixing the issue... and tried several incorrect guesses, charging me for each misadventure.

I always use Bavarian to put tires on my cars. They use a and quot;no touchand quot;
system that does not scar rims. They are always on time and have a
nice waiting room with internet connection while you wait. Their prices
are much less than the dealership for tires, front end alignment, etc.
I have Porsche and BMW cars. Great company. Highly recommend.

We have been using them for seven years. They make appointments and would take one to the office if one doesn't know the way to get there. They are very good at what they do. They use all original factory parts and not second market parts. When I get there, the car is ready for me to pick up and take home. They will call when it is ready and it is ready when they say it would be ready.
