You can even witness your pets being spoiled and having a great time on our LIVE webcams, at both locations! Working all day or just simply don’t want to leave your pet at home? We also provide day long recreation playing in our daycare! Daycare and boarding dogs play together, in their assigned “sized” room. This was our dog's second and last visit. The first one was ok but we had to call (never talked to a person and left messages) and remind them of their agreement to not allow our dog out in the "pack" outings they espouse but to let him out by himself (he's a fairly recently adopted rescue dog and we wanted to take things slow with him). We knew they disregarded our wishes because we saw him out with the other dogs on their video cams! This second experience was the worst experience we've ever had involving a boarding kennel. We dropped our dog off and again reminded the employee receiving our dog of our preferences for his socialization before leaving him off. On Monday, I called the office and let them know that a friend was picking him up and asked if all went well. I was told that it "must have" because "we didn't hear anything and we usually do when there's a problem". The friend picked him up and again nothing was mentioned about my dogs health. When my dog got home, I noticed two very nasty looking puncture wounds (dog bite marks!) just millimeters from his left eye! Upon closer inspection, I realized that the wounds had been glued shut! As a former ER nurse, I knew this was exactly the wrong thing to do. I immediately called my vet to get an appointment and then the ARK. When I expressed my great distress over this injury, after the person answering the phone said she knew nothing, she got the "story" from the manager. Apparently on Sunday evening, my dog was being led on a "short leash" past another dog (why was he out with other dogs?) and both dogs spied a piece of food on the floor and "went for it at the same time". Obviously, my dog was not under control by the person with the leash and neither was the other dog. My dog got bitten severely near the eye. At no time did they call us or a vet but rather instituted their protocol to handle "small" injuries I was told included cleaning and glueing "to keep the germs out"! When I told the manager this, in my opinion, was no small injury and In any event the owner should be advised of ANY injury. And asked why I hadn't been notified when I called that morning, she said "they meant to" but hadn't gotten to it yet!!!! I looked at my dogs "report card" and nothing was mentioned about the injury In that either. I took my dog to our vet whose very first statement was "they did exactly the wrong thing"! She then had to peel off all the glue from his wounds which was painful and distressing to our poor boy. She said he was "extremely lucky" since the injury was so close to his eye and that unrestrained dogs going after the same food can inflect great great damage. She placed our dog on a two week course of systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds along with a topical ophthalmic antibiotic (the ARK used Neosporin ointment). This visit cost $172.+ This experience was very upsetting for both my husband and I and our dog. This sweet dog was adopted by us in hopes that his future life, unlike his past, would be safe and filled with love. When employing people to care for our dog in our absence we expect no less from them.

We boarded our dogs for 2 nights, and it went well. The dogs came home happy and tired! It was great that they have you bring your dogs first for a meet and greet with the staff and other dogs before you board them. We received a report card at the end of the stay telling us that they were well-behaved and interacted well with the other dogs.

We love this place. We are new to the area and used Angies list to find a place to board our dogs when we travel. The Ark had great recommendations, and weI want to add another one. We have been very pleased with the quality of service provided at both locations. Our pups become very excited when they figure out that we are driving to the Ark. We have used the Ark for day boarding and overnight boarding and will continue to use the Ark for our future trips.

Ark Pet Spa and Hotel I used their services on April 25th through Wednesday May 1st. It was $135. They have this camera, like a web cam, when you are away on the road, obviously you have to board your pet, you can watch them on the web cam and we did that quite a bit. My wife really liked that. They also have special deals, it's supposed to be $25 a night, but if you stay for six consecutive nights, they give you a free bath and they take like $10 off the bill. That's why I paid $135. So it was a good value I think. I compared a lot of the other pet hotels and stuff like that and they were comparable in price but they didn't offer any discounts, they didn't have the web cam feature, so that was one thing. And when we actually went to visit the place the people there seemed pretty knowledgeable about pets and they were very friendly. And most importantly of all is when we watched them on the web cam you would see that they actually kept the place clean, you would see on the web cam them cleaning out the kennels and stuff.

It was a full grooming including a bath, nails, ears teeth and tail. I think they do a very good job. We boarded her there for a week before that and we liked that service. We are going to be using her every month for grooming.

We unexpectantly found ourselves in need of a kennel for a few days while we were in Chattanooga. As soon as we walked into and were greeted by the staff, it was evident that these people were dog lovers. All of the staff came to meet our Siberian Husky and she took to them immediately. Three days later when we picked her up, she was happy, tired, and well groomed. Thank you to The Ark Spa staff who acted like they were going to miss our dog.

Superbly. My anxieties about leaving her were put to rest. I'm sure she will do well when boarding.
