About us
Cornerstone Door Company is a family owned and operated business which has been serving Middle Tenneessee for over 24 years. We were first licensed in 1994. Prior to then, brothers, Jim and Larry, managed and provided service for the garage door division of Mastercraft Home Improvement from 1977 until its owner retired in 1993. With this background between them, they have a combined total of more than 70 years experience in the garage door industry. As Cornerstone has grown over the years, we have been able to expand and establish a loyal customer base. More of our family members have become involved and we are grateful to be able to say that even during the past economic turmoil, our business continued to grow. We look forward to earning the trust of more homeowners in the Middle Tennessee area and appreciate the opportunity to serve.

They were very responsive to our request, and the estimate was provided and work completed within a few days. Henri was very courteous and professional. They replaced the top panel of the door with a matching one that has windows. The worker who came to install the panel, Josh (?) was amazing! He had no wasted motions and had the top panel switched out and the spring adjusted in no time. We are very pleased with the results.

I would highly recommend this company for any issues with your garage door or openers. They work with my home warranty company and have been here twice in the last 5 years. I am extremely pleased and very satisfied with their work and everything about this company. Jo-Lea at the office is so very nice, she keeps me informed, and their technicians are always great. I had an especially nice young man here working today, Dalton. Extremely punctual, professional, knowledgeable and polite. He had everything up and running perfectly in no time. We had the springs on our Garage door break on Memorial day approximately 6 pm. I immediately went to Angie's list looking for a company, and my wife recognized Cornerstone's name from when she worked at a local home improvement store. They told us someone would call us the next morning because of the three day holiday. The following morning we received a call that the tech would be at our house by 9AM. The tech was friendly, explained what was wrong and offered us options. He was done by 10:30 so my wife could get on with her day. Excellent service and responsiveness ; I would definately recommend again.

Perfect. They were able to come the same week I called, took less than two hours to complete the job, took away the old openers and broom swept entire garage. Nice having new openers that throw more light into garage.

We came home from a long trip to our garage door no longer opening, trapping my husband's car inside the garage and my car outside. I called Cornerstone the next morning and someone was here within an hour or so to fix it. The phone staff was extremely nice, as well as the technician. Due to some road work our house was hard to get to, but he was very patient and found a way to get to us. The repair was quick and very reasonable in cost. I really appreciate the speed and helpfulness of all of Cornerstone's staff. I will definitely be calling them again if the need arises.

From first call to the end of the install Cornerstone did a great job. On the first appointment they accessed our door for compatibility, provided options, told us how long it would be to get the door in from the factory and told us the price. When the door came in as scheduled, they called, we set the appointment to our needs, they called the day before to confirm, then again 30 minutes before arrival and they were on time. The work was done quickly, cleanly and everything works great. They even did some extra adjustments with the photo cells to make everything work better on sunny days. Very professional.

A great experience. Had a gap in the door that I couldn't get adjusted properly. They came by when they said they would, fixed the gap and did a thorough "check-up" on my door. Showed me some simple things I could do to extend the life of the door and opener. Did not try to upsell me to any other work or replacements. When the time does come to upgrade my door, I will be calling them.

The service was fabulous. They answered their phones promptly and returned calls when they said they would. They showed up on time and completed a difficult job solving the problems that arose. The doors were installed within a few days of the quote and the invoice matched the quote.

They charge a service call fee to look at problem and give estimate if you don't use them for repair.

"Thanks for taking the time to review our services. I'm very sorry we did not meet the level of professionalism that we strive for. If my notes are correct, it looks like we came out to repair two panels on a garage door. Unfortunately, the door was unrepairable and needed to be replaced. Our basic service fee is $69.95 but we reduce that price to $45 if repairs are not possible and write quote for a new garage door. Then when a new door is purchased from us within 30 days, the $45 comes off the total. Again, we apologize we did not meet our standard of customer service."
