It was excellent, I would trust Tim for any other work on my house when needed. Tim’s a professional you can trust. For anyone who hasn’t had home repair, you will need to pay for materials up front, usually 15 percent to 35 percent depending on cost. The remainder due upon completion. Tim is competitive on pricing and will work with you if you have to work. I trusted him to be at my house for several days by himself while I was not there and working. Be weary of other companies who bid on jobs without actually coming out and seeing what needs to be repaired, Tim was one of the few who took the time to come out and accurately price the job with no surprises, everything was up front before he started the job and nothing changed as far as scope of work or price. AAA+ work, I’d recommend him to any friend or family.

Tim was amazing. He handled everything I asked of him with no problems. He was very knowledgeable and was easily able to adapt to anything that presented a challenge. He was punctual and never left me waiting for him to show up. He told me what the project would cost and stuck to it. The only additions to my bill were things I had not known to buy in advance. Tim was friendly and considerate throughout the couple of weeks he was in my home. He even went above and beyond on the last day here by helping me put together a microwave cart that was giving me trouble! I would highly recommend Tim to anyone!

He was able to come same-day for a quote and was able to do the work just a few days later. (I DO believe we happen to catch a hole in his schedule.)  He was polite, professional, finished everything quickly and did a great job for a fantastic price.  We will absolutely use him again!

I can't say enough good things about Tim Goodman. I have found it quite difficult to find a good service provider that will do a good job, keep in contact and let you know what to expect. Doing business with him has reminded me that there are still some great service providers out there- you just have to find them.
Tim was prompt, professional, did a great job on the dry wall, and ended up charging me less that the original quote because he didn't need as much material as he originally thought.
I highly recommend Tim to anyone who has remodeling work to be done. I will definitely hire him again when I have more remodeling projects to do.

He did a great job on the fence at the back. That was the primary thing we had hired him for, and he did good.

Tim is amazing. He is currently working alone, and does everything immaculately. The ceiling was perfect when he was done. He is professional, very personable, and clearly knows EXACTLY what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone for this sort of work. He is a magician.

Tim is prompt, pleasant, and committed to honest work. He shows up when he says he will. He did a good job of keeping me informed when unexpected challenges arose (there was more water damage than we could originally see. ) When materials are a significant expense, he will ask for payment to cover them at the time of purchase. Labor expenses are payable when work is completed. We are pleased with the quality of his work and will definetly call him again.

The job went well.

After several years of debate on what kind of deck/terrace to built at the rear of our house, we finally decided on a wooden deck with a screened gazebo. Southern Remodeling was a name I received from my favorite lumber yard, and we hired Tim, the owner, for a much smaller job to see if we liked his work. As this was the first deck we had had someone else build for us, we wanted to be sure we could work with the contractor. The small job turned out great, and we asked Tim to provide us with references we might contact. With every reference praising his work, we gave him the drawings we had prepared, and asked for a firm price using premium materials. His price was acceptable, and he started working on the deck. His humor and goodwill made working with him a pleasure. He was good with our dogs, no mean feat, and listened to our requests, offering alternatives where appropriate. I was impressed with his workmanship, and with his patience. The pre-built 16' x 10' gazebo fit perfectly on the decking Tim built for it, and it all looks as if deck/gazebo were part of the original home. We are so pleased with our new outdoor space, and with the extra little touches of Tim's workmanship we notice every time we are out.
