A+ Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

My sewer line broke during really cold weather around Christmas. A + did come out two days after I called and checked the problem. After paying $300 that day for a 30 minute visit they sent a couple guys out the next day to dig up my yard. The guys came and worked in the rain (which I really appreciated) and got my line temporarily fixed where they put one piece of new pipe and a curved piece to connect new pipe with old pipe. I didn't want the curved piece but realized they would be back to finish when he weather was better. I asked them to replace the whole line to the road where the city line started. When they returned they simply covered the line and didn't replace the rest like I had requested. They left the curved piece covered it and left. I received a bill and mailed the check in full (a whole months salary by the way on top of the $300 already paid) and wrote a letter asking them to come back and at least fix my yard. I received a call saying they would and after more than two months they have not fixed my yard. I feel like they took advantage of me and I hope I don't have other issues since they didn't replace the whole line like I asked. It is also very frustrating being told they would come back and fix my yard back and they didn't honor that.

Job went fine.

Jimmy Trivett of A+ Plumbing assigned Joey to come to my house, assess the problem and fix it. Joey determined the leak stemmed from the tub drain in one of the upstairs bathrooms. He had to cut through my ceiling to access the bottom part of the drain and install a new one. Leak fixed! The people at A+ Plumbing are professional, prompt and efficient.

I called A+ and they had someone out within 2 hours. The plumber was able to fix the problem in 10-15 minutes. This was very convenient since this is the only bathroom at a business. I would definitely use them again because of the convenience, cleanliness, and ability to fix the problem quickly.

Arranged by contractor so not sure how much of markup is included in cost. They worked neatly, for what I can see.

They were great. As soon as we called, they stopped by to survey what was going on and gave an honest assessment. I don't know plumbing and they could have definitely taken advantage of my lack of knowledge, but they didn't. They were here the next day, took their time, and fixed lots of minor issues along with the initial problem. We will be using them again.

This plumbing company is as honest and straight-forward as one could imagine.
The owner and his nephew are conscien tious and thorough. This job was complex--we had a toilet tank leaking water at the tank/stool connection. We also had a sluggish second toilet. They found a serious backup due to flushing of product not intended to be flushed!! They informed me a second plumber may be needed to clear the line, but would try to work with some equipment they had. And they accomplished this. This blockage and stench were incredible. If they hadn't found it, as they did, the problem would have been much worse.
This job was done by the owner's nephew, J.R. and his assistant, Joey. I saw the sludge finally dislodged (incredible!). I understood the problem(s) and was able to see the need for the new tank parts.
Mr. Trivett, Sr., and J.R. are polite, honest, responsive. On another occasion from the one above, I had a concern after the job was finished--a pressure valve installed. I didn't have enough pressure in one area. Mr. Trivett came to the house with an hour of my call and adjusted the valve; there was no charge for the second call.

They were very good and they did complete the job. He thought it was just going to not take him long but they ran into some problems with the tub fixtures because they were old and he couldn't find parts and he tried to get stuff to work but nothing would work before we ended up replacing everything. I guess that's probably why it cost me so much money, because I had to replace the spout and everything, but he tried his best to fix what was there first. He stayed until it was done.

After a weekend of struggling to open a bathtub drain and finding nothing that would work, we phoned A+ Plumbing. I had used them once before, several years ago, to fix a leaking water pipe in the cellar. The A+ plumber was excellent. He arrived promptly, was courteous, professional and went right to work. It was a difficult job to get to and required that he go to great trouble to fix a faulty drain plug device that had erroded over time and was the main reason for the inability of water to drain down the pipe.
The drain now works beautifully.
In addition to the bath issue, he replaced an outside water faucet pipe joint that was leaking.
All the work was done in a couple of hours and the cost was affordable.

The space he had to work in was no bigger than the upflush tank itself but he never complained. He first found the backed up area and worked at getting it to break loose and then positioned the pipes in the correct levels. Then he took the upflush out and cleaned it and repositioned the float. Once that was done he reinstalled it and tested everything to be sure it was working correctly. He wouldn't leave until he had it working again which ended up being 9:00 p.m. Everything was cleaned up before he left. I was very impressed with the care he took in getting the job done and showing me exactly what was going on. I would highly recommend this company.
