SUPERIOR DETECTION SYSTEMS

Signed contract to install service for $560 in July, 2006.  They signed up for monthly service for $25 for now over SIX years.  I was transferred and my wife called to cancel.  She was told that they just auto-renewed and we had to pay for an entire seventh year, even though we had been loyal customvers, had honored inital 36-month term and then some, and were being transferred and would not require service.  My wife and I have had no satisfaction and have been treated horrible.  Rather than trying to diffuse the situation, Kevin Allen (reffered by the BBB) had questioned my integrity, mocked me, and asked me to bring it on - so I am hear voicing my concerns and warning others.  It is sad that I paid this amount of money over the years for a peace of mind and security and now I feel that they are the ones that have violated me. 
We had some actual service issues over the years with not being able to turn a system off or respond quickly but the service was not so horrible that we switched - I guess we learned our lesson.

This company is one of the worst that I have had to deal with. Their system was already here when we bought the house. We decided to go with a company with better prices and service. When our alarm company call SDS to get the code to unlock the system they refused. They wanted to charge us for a simple code or for them to come out and remove the system. The alarm system was part of the package when we bought the house, so the system did not even belong to SDS anymore. They were rude, unprofessional and caused a lot of hassle. I don't remember what they wanted to charge a month.
