Service Jewelry and Repair

First, I dreaded leaving the locket since it is permanently sealed with my son's ashes and I certainly would never want to lose it for any reason. The staff at the store on Old Hickory Blvd. was amazing. They were attentive, friendly and truly had heart. Even though I was resigned to leaving the locket behind, they worked with me to prioritize my quick repair so I could wait while the repair was being done. The price was excellent as well. I had an earring repair done here before and was also very pleased with the quality of the work and the cost. I will return and am planning to have a watch cleaned & the battery replaced next. They quoted me a price for this service and it was very reasonable, considering that I had received a quote from another jeweler earlier that gave me pause.

Had a watch that was losing time. Took it here and they repaired it at a fair price and within a couple of days. A little hard to find at their location near Cool Springs, but worth it. Great experience.

Based on other reviews, I expected a pretty good experience, but I was blown away by the level of service. The staff was kind, attentive, and the work they performed was fast and great. The price for the repair was amazing.... they quoted $26 but when I went to pick it up they only charged me $12. The quality of the work was great... the jeweler even met with me to make sure he understood what the necklace was supposed to look like and then repaired it as good as new. I dropped it off late on a Saturday and they had it ready for me on the following Monday. Couldn't be happier!

The only issue I had was that I left the earrings on Friday morning and was told I would receive a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not hear from them until Monday late morning, but they did call. I was not in a hurry, so the late call was not an issue for me. Otherwise, the experience was great!

We recently use Service Jewelry and Repair to tighten the diamond on my wife's engagement ring. All of the repairs occur on site (no shipping the ring away to who knows where) and was copleted very quickly. Cost could no be better either. Work has just been done, so I cann't speak fully to the quality of repair yet, however the stone is now quite snug and the ring looks as good as it did when I bought it for my wife. The only down side is that the place is VERY hard to find, but if you call on the way, the staff is very helpful and direct you in.

I expected this to be a nightmare - trouble matching the stone quality or acquiring the diamond, and then I expected to pay a fortune to have the work done. Imagine my surprise when Service Jewelry and Repair were quick, efficient, communicative, and they did it all for a very reasonable price. Seriously, they were just great from start to finish. I brought the ring in for a consultation and mentioned I had a copy of the appraisal, which I faxed over the first day. They called me right back, gave me an estimate of the cost and time frame, and the work came in right on schedule for the promised price. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the ring - it looks brand new! They matched the stone quality exactly, fixed another minor problem with the ring, and cleaned and polished it. Based on my experience with this, I'd certainly return to Service Jewelry and Repair!!
