My husband and I started house hunting without an agent as we thought that might be a better negotiating tactic in getting us a lower price on a house. We found it quite difficult to have the selling agents representing the homes we were interested in return our calls, except for one. In Apr 09, we wanted to look at a 7 acre home in Williamson county in which Donna Whitley was the agent. She returned our calls, met us at the property, was knowledgable, courteous, and followed through with all of the information we asked for. She exuded the best customer service we could have asked for. Although we were no longer interested in that property, we knew we had to have her as our buying agent in our home search. We worked for many months to find the best place for us at the right price. At one point, Donna went out of the country and we needed to work with her boss, Marla Richardson. We were a bit anxious as we had just put in an offer on a 'short sell' and Marla didn't know us like Donna did. Marla was phenomenal! She made us feel confident in our choices and worked wonders with the other agent. Unfortunately, that was also not the house for us. By October, Donna had found us a 5 br, 3 ba in a great school district with a large yard and and a price we were comfortable with. As part of the negotiations the house needed to be converted from septic to sewer and Donna was a lifesaver. Donna was always on top of things, and put us at ease while the sewer work was being conducted. If we ever need to purchase another house, Donna will be the first person we call. She was such a blessing to us and we will never forget her kindness and professionalism. I recommend Donna to all of my friends.
