If I could give 0 stars, I would. My mom purchased a 24ft round above ground pool and I was there with her to listen to the "sales pitch". Ron gave the basic vague "you will need sand, a large area, and MONEY!" speech. He stated we were responsible for BACKFILL around the pool, not clearing off the BOULDERS & ROCK that was dug up and left in the middle of our yard. Not to mention how so many of the things that were supposed to be delivered with the pool, still have not been corrected. The sales folks will say "initial here for me handing you this book" "sign here to contract the build"... but what they don't tell you is how they will screw you 6 ways to Sunday. $10,000 for a pool and then hundreds of dollars on all of the "extras" that have to happen. Again, very misleading. Also, when you encounter a problem, NO ONE is willing to help or admit that a mistake was made. Terrible customer service, rude employees, and even more rude managers. I plan to tell anyone and everyone how pitiful this company truly is.

We payed in advance for a pump and saline system that was in stock and in store several weeks ago. We were scheduled to have it installed and everything seemed to be going smoothly. It's an indoor pool so we took time off work to make sure we were available and then nobody showed and nobody called. When we called we were told that someone sold the system we already purchased. Since we'd already paid, we rescheduled for 2 weeks later. This time we adjusted a vacation and took time away from work to be available. Again after sitting around all day, no call and no show. We called Pool and Spa Depot to figure out what happened and were told we would get a call when the tech was on their way. There's never any communication made to us about delays or cancelation so we're stuck sitting around twiddling our thumbs wasting vacation time. After calling to try and get this project we paid for around a month ago finally done we were placed on the books for today at 8am. Again no show, no call. I just called and spent 20 min trying to get some kind of answer or assurance that the work we paid for would be completed and there would be some kind of communication so I'm not waiting around until 8pm on another Friday hoping the tech will show since their phone staff is off hours before that. This was apparently too much for them and they would rather refund than complete the task that was paid for and the primary function of their business. Pool and Spa Depot's lengthy hold recording promises "We want to be convenient and accessible for you. " but instead what we got was a month of wasted time, 3 wasted vacation days, no call backs, no work completed, and eventually a refund because they can't keep their word to communicate or not sell products you purchased. It's very obvious when speaking with customer service that they just don't care either because I was told that people need to be flexible with scheduling. I feel we've been more than flexible and Pool and Spa Depot needs to learn how to communicate and do their jobs.

Agree with several of the customers here! Sales process was great and it’s true what you read.. IT STOPS there. I wrote a lengthy review after the sale and was excited to write more positive ones to follow. Well.... that’s not gonna happen!! We have been customers for 20+yrs. trust me when I say, they don’t care about that!!!! Our purchase took place in April. They have been on the site a total of 4 days. Each time something has been done incorrectly so 2 of the 4 are correcting their mistakes like steps put in wrong location! They (construction side of people, not sales) WILL NOT communicate with you and we’ve even spoken to Mr. Peter who prides himself on being “involved”. His response was to tell us “it’s just a pool, you can’t even use it this year anyway.” ? No sir, it’s also a hot tub and a oasis with fire etc that COULD be used, IF they finish the mess around the pool so we can install it! No sir, it’s not just a pool, it is the most expensive investment we’ve ever made!!! We’ve had to hire our own people ON top of the massive amounts of money they already collected (their real quick to cash your checks!) just to get a hot tub that has sat in storage for 7 months somewhat running!! (And not because anything was on back order? the tub has been in our possession unusable because of the yard condition the ENTIRE time). Oh and as of now, it doesn’t run either, surprised not anymore. 7 months after cashing the first checks and mine looks about like the unfinished others posted here. DO NOT USE POOL AND SPA DEPOT. COVID lag seems to have rebounded and replaced all the other companies products. I can personally speak of this as I know multiple people who bought their pool and spa after us from different companies and have been able to go swimming!! I do not recommend this company to anyone!

My husband and I have never had a pool before so we were a little intimidated. But our Project Manager John was absolutely amazing! He was super responsive and helpful anytime we had questions or concerns. He explained each step of the process and was super patient with us. I highly recommend Pool and Spa Depot and John!
