New Brand Cleaners

I went in to pick up two items (men's shirt and women's dress) that had been dry cleaned. I paid the amount thinking to myself it seemed high but didn't look at the ticket until I got home. The itemized ticket on the plastic dry cleaners bag said $15.63 but my card was charged for $20.97. I called the store to let them know of the mistake and was rudely told that the discrepancy was due to an outstanding balance from over 2 months ago. Mind you, I've been taking clothes to have dry cleaned on a regular basis over the past few months and no one ever mentioned that I had an outstanding balance. She said occasionally if the computers are down they will let customers take the clothes without paying and charge them the next time. That's fine, but no one told me that I hadn't paid for clothes and they were letting me take them home AND no one told me today that they were going to charge my card for a different amount than what was due for the service today. I realize we are talking about a difference of $5 but its the principle here. There was absolutely no attempt to make this situation right and it feels like really bad business to charge the customer more than what was due

They ripped button off of the shirt. They have lied to me and ruined the shirt. They tried to replace the button with an incorrect button. It has taken 6 weeks for this service from start to finish. The problem is still not resolved and I am now taking them to court over this matter.
