He was great to deal with and always pleasant. A friend recommended him after using a landscape architect to do a plan and Randy to do the work. She said the landscape architect kept changing the plan on recommendations from Randy. So, we just skipped the landscapre architect and used Randy. I called him back this year (a year later) to fertilize everything and to weed our front sloped beds filled with groundcover.
Description of Work: Mother Nature (Randy Smith) removed 3 small pine trees and recommended and installed two very large magnolia trees (16') at the rear of our back yard (a much-needed screen - we have a large condo building overlooking our urban yard). Randy also recommended and installed a Carolina Jasmine on a trellis, a bottlebrush buckey, 7 hollies, 1 boxwood, 3 mahonia, a espalier viburnum, 7 hellebore, and 3 snowball hydrangeas, plus he removed a bunch of overgrown forsythia, a large honeysuckle and some other stuff. He got rid of 2 large (10' x 12') areas in our front yard covered with groundcover (english ivy) and installed sod, which has done fine. He also extended a gutter underground so that it emitted water away from a large bush it was harming, he also fertilized all plants in our front and side beds, and transplanted hosta and liriope.
