Extremely disappointed in poor professional service, or lack there of. Mr. Lynn took a $1,000.00 retainer fee without a contract from us, and never responded to our calls/emails/messages for 2 months. Finally, we requested a refund and he said he had our preliminary drawings completed. We politely declined to work with him, and only requested the retainer refund. Have never heard from him again.

Mark seemed like a decent enough guy.  He showed up the day after we contacted him and spent close to an hour at our house walking around and discussing ideas for our remodel. He had some good ideas and some bad (like building out to the base of a giant hackberry and actually constructing a screened-in porch around the tree, something the arborist we later brought out assured us was absolutely stupid).  We paid him $150 for his visit, which he said would apply to the cost of the drawings (he quoted $3500).  He also said he would visit with historical the next morning and figure out what was and what was not feasible, and that the visit with historical would be included in the $150.
I did not hear from him the next day. The following day I called and he said he hadn't made it but he would that day.  I didn't hear from him again.  I called the following day and he said he was on his way.  I didn't hear from him again.  I called him the following day and he said they had been in a meeting so he hadn't been able to see anyone.  Sadly, he said, he was leaving town the next morning for a family reunion.  He would go to historical on Monday, he assured me, and be in touch.  He apologized for the delays.  This was now Friday, 8 days after we first met and 7 days after he was to visit with codes.  I called him the next week and he did not pick up.  I have never heard from him again.  As far as I am concerned, he took payment of $150 for services not rendered and delayed my project by several weeks.  
Mark will apparently not tell you if he does not wish to take on your project but instead string you along with false promises.  He will also repeatedly talk about how "blessed" he is and all the multi-million dollar projects he's doing in the Forest Hills/Brentwood area.

Designed a one story addition to 2 story building. He incorporated a deck above the one story addition which can be accessed from the second story. I have seen his work in the past and found his disigns to be practicle, cost efficient and ;iked the fsct that he can think out of the box/

Mark saw the space and listened to our ideas. He came up with a design that had better ideas than what we had thought off. He was very creative and provided us a great design. We feel confortable taking the design to a contractor.

It went well overall. Mark measured our basement, gave helpful input regarding location of some rooms and provided a preliminary sketch for our approval. Once we approved, he provided detailed plans.

He was very punctual and polite. He was easy to work with. He did the drawing for us, and after we saw it, we decided we wanted to make some changes. There was no problem with him making those changes. He seemed excited with what we were excited about. He was very nice. It felt very natural and it felt like we were his only client.
