The workers were punctual and hardworking. Scott was no where to be found on the job. There wasn't any supervision until I complained. There were many areas that didn't look great with apparent wall imperfections and fuzz in the paint. They told me it was because the builder had done a very poor job of drywall prep and they were fixing it. They fixed some but I had to go back through and mark many spots that needed to be fixed. Some areas look good but others have fuzz, streak marks, and imperfections. I felt that for the price I paid I shouldn't have had to complain. It should have been done properly initially.

They assured me at the beginning of the job that the color matches would be perfect ( match on my existing trim and match of BM colors with SW because of price). The color match of the trim wasn't an exact match, it has a significant yellow cast. They used that to repaint dark trim and many ceilings. When I mentioned to the crew that the ceilings looked yellow and didn't match, they denied it and said it was because of the light and sheen. The house looked better overall and I was so busy that I didn't push the issue. Since last fall I have been thinking I'm crazy because I walk around my house feeling like I'm seeing yellow everywhere. This weekend I pulled out the paint they used and compared it to the empty can I have of the old trim. It's not even close. Part of the reason why I paid more was because of their initial assurances about precision color matching. That was a joke. I now have 4 yellow ceilings and yellow trim that was supposed to be our original trim white.

In addition, at their request, I went to the SW store on Carothers to get color samples for a few rooms because I had picked BM colors and they wanted to use SW. I was given bad advice at SW about matching for the foyer walls and my bedroom. The colors are nice but not what I picked initially and I'm not totally happy with them. Other rooms came out the intended color, but I will never do a color match again unless I have no other choice.

This fall, I called for an estimate on additional work before I realized the color screw up. No one showed up or called. I eventually called to reschedule. A worker showed up to take measurements, but then I never got the estimate. It doesn't matter anyway because after comparing the cans I have leftover in my garage, I would never use them again.

Horrendous, messy and unprofessional. Although they laid tarps we had to replace our upstairs hall carpet because they slopped so much paint on it. They painted our window trim and ended up sealing every window shut because they closed them before the paint dried. Trying to force them open a crew member broke one of our windows. The paint tore off of all of them, which was never fixed nor was our window. They cleaned brushes in our sink and got paint all over the cabinet doors under the sink. Trying to remove it damaged the cabinets. They never put a second coat on in some rooms so the paint was uneven and you could see through it. They broke a bookcase when moving it and a shelf went through the wall. They never told us, assembled the shelf and placed it in front of the holes in the wall. As soon as we touched it the entire bookshelf fell apart and hurt our son. They left boxes full of used plastic tarps and other junk for us to dispose of. These boxes also had several empty Miller Light beer cans hidden inside of the tarps. We found 6 beer cans thrown on top of a ceiling next to where they stored their supplies. One morning I was still in bed when they arrived and one of the painters tried to sneak into my bedroom but my dog heard him and scared him half to death. These are absolutely horrendous, unethical, unprofessional, messy and terrible painters. We had to hire someone else to repaint everything and fix the things they broke. I can't say anything about Scott because we never met him but his painters are the worst he could possibly hire.

I've already recommended Holloway Painters to all of my friends!! They are prompt and extremely customer focused. Provided an fair estimate. Came out prior to the job start to re-review the job after providing the estimate and even offered to start earlier than we had initially planned. Worked NON-STOP until the job was done. Staying late and even weekends! We actually asked them to take the day off on Sunday!

Holloway went above an beyond my expectations!! Not only is their customer service wonderful, the job that they did was FABULOUS! We had a few mistakes and they came back out immediately to correct. They even came back out months later to help me with a few windows that I couldn't get open. We've had neighbors stop us in the yard to tell us how great the painting looked and asked who did it. Would definitely use them again in the future (although I hope it will be quite a while before we need exterior painting again!)!!

They did a good job, cleaned up and I would use them again.

They were absolutely awesome. Our house is 5000sq ft and they did 4000 of it because we did not do the basement and that included ceilings in four different paint colors. They were very reasonable and they were done in a week. The other guys when they had finished the other jobs would come here and help these guys who were working. I cannot say enough about them. They were great. They were neat, friendly, and conscientious. Scott the owner is very conscientious, he does a good job and his crew is just great. I felt very confident in their workmanship. They did things very quickly, they cleaned up after themselves. I have had painters come in before and I have spent days working on the floor and with these guys I did not have to do even that.

He did a great job. He was really reasonable. It was the first time we had used them. He showed up on time and was really particular about the job. He did some extra things that we didn't talk about for free.

Was referred to Holloway Painting by my Realtor and I called and set up an Estimate. I met him Scott who was very friendly. I also had 2 other estimates done with other companies. The Holloway Painting Estimate was the lowest (not my much) but the follow up was really good. I received a professional estimate via email and they also followed up wanting to know if they could assist with anything else.

I decided to use Holloway Painting and had a great experience. I was at work most of the time the work was being performed but I would come home and be amaze and the quality of the work being done.

The job was completed in about 5 days and they even moved my furniture back to where it was suppose to be without my asking. Very proactive. The guys actually doing the painting were very friendly.

I am loving my new paint colors and especially the quality work that was done with painting my walls. I don't know if I was just lucky but they did extra work that wasn't even in the written estimate, such as touching up some of the trim I hadn't requested be done.

I would Definitely use Holloway Painting again! Thanks so much! It's not often you have such a great experience.
