We all want a fair and honest electrician who will truly provide and quot;bang for our buckand quot;. Phil is your guy. I've used his services on five occasions and currently quoting another with him.

I called GPH (Phil) because he was recommended by an appliance guy I used that I liked. I also checked him out on Angie’s List and several other sites.
When I called and explained what I needed, he came out and gave me a free estimate. When he came out for the estimate, he also gave me several good suggestions. He was not pushy nor did he try to over sale me on extra or unneeded stuff.
He gave me an appointment and came out on the scheduled day and time. My concern with adding can lights to a first floor kitchen was that after I got the lighting done I was going to have to pay someone else to come out and fix all the holes and sheetrock damage. Not only did Phil minimize the damage to the sheetrock, he repaired all the holes to the point of being ready to paint. He did nearly all of his wiring through the holes that he cut out for the can lights. When he did have to cut into the sheetrock, he repaired any of the holes he created.
When he took off my old fluorescent light, he found that they had caulked it to the ceiling and also had several cut-outs underneath it. The caulk caused damage to the ceiling when being removed. He also repaired this ceiling damage.
Any time he cut a hole; he had a tarp underneath or was holding a dustpan. He always attempted to minimize the amount of
dust and mess he made.
I had some existing can lights that were not working. He was able to quickly find that they were not wired correctly. He fixed the wiring and also added a separate light switch for them. He also noticed some improper wiring on a few other can lights. He went ahead and corrected the wiring without increasing his quote.
There were no surprises on the billing. He only charged the price he originally quoted. There were a few items that I added during the process and he gave me an estimate prior to doing the work. There were other items that he had given me an estimate on that I decided to wait on. He did not try to talk me out of my decision nor did he have a problem with me not doing everything that he had provided an estimate on.
The project took two separate appointments. He was prompt on both appointments.
Phil does quality work and I highly recommend him. I will definitely call him the next time I need electrical work done.
