Matt was wonderful throughout the whole process -- from initial contact through completion of the project. He was very hands-on and made sure that the installers had everything that they needed to do the job. The installers, led by Tony, were equally great. They were professional, hardworking and always on time -- very pleasant to be around. Tony had to handle some unexpected problems stemming from poor work that our builders had done, and he and his team handled these and the entire job with great attention to detail. I had gotten bids from several very good companies, but I'm very happy that I choose Floorz! Thanks, guys -- You did a great job and the workmanship really shows!

We picked out the carpet and they sent them out to be bound. They were supposed to be 8 x 10. The original carpet cut was 12 x 8.4. The first time we picked them up and got them home they were bound but still 12 x 8.4 instead of 8 x 10. We once again returned them to be cut 8 x 10 and bound. We picked them up again and got them home and they had only fixed one side and they are now 10 x 8.4. We talked to the owner and he agreed to pick them up on Saturday at our home and return them to us on Monday. It is now Wednesday night and we still don't have the rugs. The owner keeps having excuses as to why he can't get them to us. Our credit card was charged over a month ago and we don't have the rugs. They also owe us a credit because we were charged for the binding of a 12 x 8.4 rug instead of an 8 x 10 rug. I am hoping for some kind of compensation when this is finally settled.

What an awesome experience I had with Floorz. I went in with some special circumstances and needed to work out my options with someone. Jason Burrage took the time to understand my needs, got me into the right product at the right price. Worked with me on scheduling an estimate, which was perfect, arrived on time. The job was staffed right, was done in the timeframe promised and followed up with me afterwards. I wasn't able to be there to show the team where all the areas that needed to be carpeted, so they figured it out and exceeded my expectations. They worked with me on the payment process and met every need. I won't go anywhere else for my flooring and tile work. Thanks to Jason and team!

Matt was great to deal with and good about communicating. His installer was able to repair loose subflooring without having to order new plywood, and that saved me money.

I had to pay additional apart from the big deal that I purchased.  I had them do additional work that was part of the first project that I had them do for me.  They were very flexible in working around my schedule as well as making sure that they have all the materials and recommending additional materials that I may not have purchased for them to use.  They were very quick and clean with how they did the work.  I was just very satisfied with them.

Used a special on Angie's list to get a bathroom tiled. I talked to the salesperson and they helped to pick out the right tile for my project. I was trying to get the work done the next week, but the crew wasn't available so I scheduled for the next week. When the crew arrived, they quickly got to work. They were very careful to contain their work to bathroom. The lead was constantly checking with me to see if the work was ok, which it was. Within a few hours they had the tile down. The next day, the lead came out and grouted the project. He again checked with me periodically, to make sure it looked ok. He was very concerned that I was happy with the work, which I was..

I contacted 4 vendors to come out and give estimates.  One of the vendor's pricing was 30% higher than the other and of the 3 remaining vendors Floorz fell into the middle after applying the Angie's List discount that they offered.  From the start to the finish the bathroom project was problematic.  I am a very organized person.  So the first thing I did after selecting Floorz was to make a visit to the store and confirm tile selections, tentative start date and project duration.  I ordered and paid for the materials and was told that when the materials were in, that someone would call me to confirm the start date and start time. This was on April 28th.  This was important to me because once the bathroom project was completed, I had already scheduled another vendor to come in and sand and restain all the downstairs hardwood floor and stairs.  First problem, I a week pased and no one had called me to confirm the start date. So I call the store and spoke with one of the owners, who apologized and put me on the schedule for May 14th.  I had meeting to attend that morning so call my friend and asked if her husband come over that morning around 10 am to let the work crew in.  I got  a call the morning that Floorz was schedule to arrive notifying me that they were delayed due to the weather and that they would be there around noon. They showed up around 2:30 pm on Day one.  Day two more of the same, it was after 1 pm when they showed up.  Needless to say, when I got home that evening, there were problems with the quality of the work.  Some of the tiles were very uneven and the crew had left with the assumption they were done.  The owners were very responsive when I called and came out the next day to see the work and made good suggestions on fixing the issues; that was now Day 3.  On Day 4, May 17th, workers came out fixed the tile issues, but left the carpet untacked down and the trim work had to be completed.   Floorz remaining work had to be delayed because on May 19th my downstairs hardwoods were scheduled to be redone. May 30th, Floorz came back and finished the last items that needed to be completed.  Now here is the comparison, I had asked another vendors to come and replace the carpet  that was in a small bathroom off of the bonus room with the same tile that Floorz used upstairs. OMG! The downstairs bathroom looks amazing. It was done by John's Artistic Tile and Design.  He was in and out within 4 hours, start to finish.  There was night and day difference in the quality of the work. The folks at Floorz are very nice people, but I would not use them again.

Jason did everything and he was the only guy I ever saw at the store (even though we only visited twice). His price was better than a couple of other businesses we received quotes from but we still thought his price was high overall to what we'd researched ourselves. I gave him a B across the board for several reasons. At the beginning we both heard him tell us he quotes so you have plenty of material leftover for any future repair but once the job was finished we only had about 5 slabs left over that were no longer than 2' each if that. So I would get anything in writing that was important. I was emailed a product warranty for the material from the company and I don't think I would have received that unless I asked. We never received anything from Floorz other than verbals and emails over the phone so I hope we have the coverage we discussed. That's why I don't give them an A for professionalism. I thought it was great that Jason not only did the quoting but he also did the labor. Jason made it seem like the distance was really far to come to Mt Juliet even though their business is in Franklin. If distance was an issue than they probably shouldn't  provide service in our area but they did. They started on Thursday and didn't finish until the following Wednesday (and this didn't included the carpet installation). If I were coming far for a job I'd start pretty early and try to get done like most professionals I've worked with but Jason and his guys didn't start until well after 10am and would be done by 4:30-5pm except the last day they did stay later to finish. He told me it would take them longer than 3 days to do our house but I'm pretty sure they could have been done sooner if they showed up earlier and stayed later. Plus, there were 3 of them most of the time. Other people that I asked who had similar work done said this seemed pretty slow. Jason wasn't big on returning calls either unless I called more than once. Personally, that bothered me. Communication was an issue with Jason. I told him I had everything put away upstairs in my attic so they could start upstairs in the bonus room with the carpet first as Jason said this was what he wanted to do. However Jason must have thought when I told him all of our stuff was upstairs in the attic he must have heard "bonus room" instead. He didn't even go up there and look to verify that so they started on the hardwoods. Then because we missed our window on the carpet installation then we had to go another whole week to wait for the carpet to get installed (which Jason doesn't do the labor on this). Jason didn't even tell me he had to cancel the carpet installation until after the hardwoods were done. Jason is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about floors. I like organization and communication and I felt like Floorz was slacking in this part of it. The quality of the install was very good so I did give that an A and I'd probably use them again knowing what to expect and asking for some things in writing.

Carpet install went smoothly.  No problems.  Moved large pieces of furniture when needed.  Responsiveness was Good, but I gave excellent because they appear to be moving into their Cool Springs/Brentwood location.

They were wonderful about scheduling. They did a great job overall. They are supposed to come out again to replace one area. My husband was very happy with their service.

It went well and I didn't have any problems with them at all.  Their prices are a little on the high end.
