Jason did everything and he was the only guy I ever saw at the store (even though we only visited twice). His price was better than a couple of other businesses we received quotes from but we still thought his price was high overall to what we'd researched ourselves. I gave him a B across the board for several reasons. At the beginning we both heard him tell us he quotes so you have plenty of material leftover for any future repair but once the job was finished we only had about 5 slabs left over that were no longer than 2' each if that. So I would get anything in writing that was important. I was emailed a product warranty for the material from the company and I don't think I would have received that unless I asked. We never received anything from Floorz other than verbals and emails over the phone so I hope we have the coverage we discussed. That's why I don't give them an A for professionalism. I thought it was great that Jason not only did the quoting but he also did the labor. Jason made it seem like the distance was really far to come to Mt Juliet even though their business is in Franklin. If distance was an issue than they probably shouldn't provide service in our area but they did. They started on Thursday and didn't finish until the following Wednesday (and this didn't included the carpet installation). If I were coming far for a job I'd start pretty early and try to get done like most professionals I've worked with but Jason and his guys didn't start until well after 10am and would be done by 4:30-5pm except the last day they did stay later to finish. He told me it would take them longer than 3 days to do our house but I'm pretty sure they could have been done sooner if they showed up earlier and stayed later. Plus, there were 3 of them most of the time. Other people that I asked who had similar work done said this seemed pretty slow. Jason wasn't big on returning calls either unless I called more than once. Personally, that bothered me. Communication was an issue with Jason. I told him I had everything put away upstairs in my attic so they could start upstairs in the bonus room with the carpet first as Jason said this was what he wanted to do. However Jason must have thought when I told him all of our stuff was upstairs in the attic he must have heard "bonus room" instead. He didn't even go up there and look to verify that so they started on the hardwoods. Then because we missed our window on the carpet installation then we had to go another whole week to wait for the carpet to get installed (which Jason doesn't do the labor on this). Jason didn't even tell me he had to cancel the carpet installation until after the hardwoods were done. Jason is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about floors. I like organization and communication and I felt like Floorz was slacking in this part of it. The quality of the install was very good so I did give that an A and I'd probably use them again knowing what to expect and asking for some things in writing.
