About us

Admiral Propane started in 1996 in the Tri-Cities Area. We chose to locate between the Tri-City Airport and Blountville so that we could service the Entire Area. We try to service a radius of 50 miles. We operate 3 (3000 gallon) Fuel Trucks with one being Pink, 2 Service and a Crane Truck for the Tri-city area. We have 75,000 gallons of Storage at the Blountville location with contracts for additional storage. In 2000 we opened our Second location in Greeneville, Tennessee to better service our expanded area. We have 3 (3000 gallon) Fuel Trucks with one being Pink, 1 Service and a Crane Truck. Contacted the office for an estimate regarding service for a fireplace. Chris came out the same day as promised.Very professional and courteous. He explained some options and after selecting the best for us, set up an appointment for the work. Virgil came out on time and was professional. SAFETY was his prime concern and making sure we were satisfied with the work. Took the time to go over everything he performed and instructions for the remote. He made sure we were comfortable with everything. I would highly recommend them.

They arrived the day after I called about getting a propane tank, which was pretty remarkable since I waited for months on Matheson and never got them to come out. The technician took his time to make sure the tank was set level and leak checked the lines, gave us safety instructions, fired the gas logs and showed us how to do it if the pilot went out. He even put the metal wool decorative pieces in the fireplace, which I didn't expect.
They did have to come back a few days later and move the tank once they saw that there truck hose would not reach to fill the tank. But they were as nice and professional as they could be, I would recommend them over Matheson any day.

We did do some pricing and they were the most reasonable. I like everything about them. However, sometimes I'm not really keen on auto delivery because you get one bill paid and you got another one coming and I wish they would call before they actually come out. This past winter I got one bill paid and then the very next day they delivered another one which took me to have another bill right on top for one and that was a little hard.

They were super. He started work at 9 a.m. and didn't finish until about 7 p.m. I was happy with everybody and they were very friendly. We haven't had any problems. I will use them again in the future.
